Hello one and all! And welcome to the character theme song thread! As you might have guessed, this is a thread to post those songs you find that just seem to fit a character on site to a t. (Or even off site if you so choose. I'm not picky. Just if off-site, please include a tiny blurb about said character...Cause I'm nosey and like knowing things...Moving on.)

These can be PC or NPC.

Please. Try to keep the songs semi-site appropriate. As in try to find the radio edits if the song has many expletives in it. (A few here and there, I personally don't have a problem with. Use your own best judgement.)

These also do not have to be your characters either. If you find a song for a character that isn't yours, you are free to still post it here. (Maybe add a little blurb to why you think it fits...once more. I'm nosy. Sue me.)

And to start it off. Here is a song that I think captures Maybelian (A NPC character in Thy Blood is Sweetest) and the way she sees Mickhalen almost perfectly. She really does love him...As twisted as that is.

So. Not 100% obviously, but the overall sentiment/theme...That is totally Tide to Khareesh. She would give him the world if she could. He is so much a part of her and her life now, that she can't really think of a future without him now. Rather that is as friends or lovers or something more. He accepts her. He loves her. She couldn't ask for much more than that and in return, she accepts and loves him as well.

(Of course, this can work for other couples too XD I'm not selfish)

This song makes me think of Tidesweep pre-Teragaia. Pre-Planet. When she first left the only place she had every known growing up. Looking for a home that wasn't...The 'home' she left behind.

Finally! I have no longer overtaken this thread XD

Speaking of. I found this one and it reminds me of Tide and Khareesh as well as Jeremi and Kemori. Just a nice, simple song about it not taking much for happiness and love. (Come to think of it, this is probably quite a few couples on this site...Yay for sharing!!!!)

Apparently I missed this thread... time to fix that!

"Will I Make It Out Alive" by Tommee Profitt is one of Dust's main themesongs. It pretty well captures his thoughts and fears after he lost his Light during the Red War. (It's also one of the few songs I associate with him that actually has words!)

'Breathe the Black' from Where the Water Tastes Like Wine has made me think of Dust since I first came up with him. I like to think it's the sort of song he'd play whilst camped out on patrol, just he and Crow and Whisper and a guitar strumming beneath the stars.

So, this one's kind of cheating, because 'Dragonsong' is from Final Fantasy XIV, AKA 'the game Telmaril's originally from'. That being said! I've always loved this arrangement and it always makes me think of Tel and how far he's come.

And because I'm a giant goddamn moosh... have my personal Anari/Tel themesong! They're still in the veeeery early days of their relationship, but this pretty well captures Tel's feelings for Anari. More than anything else he wants to be there for her as she grows and heals, her safe harbor in a storm.
