I Bring the Warmth and Love of the Dawn White Mottle Female Firelizard, Aurae
(Mindspeech would be here if she could)
Aurae, the first companion, the one most reflective of Raferties' heart. Primarily white in color, with her underbelly and the trailing edges of her wings a faded pale rose, the tops of her wings and down from the back of her head and neck all the way to the tip of her tail was an equally pale yellow like the first rays of the morning sun. Upon her brow was the image of a rising sun shining in all it's glory, much akin to Solaris' holy symbol itself, as ever a sign that they were meant to be together and tinting her facial features in the warm peaches, golds, and roses of the coming dawn.
Her personality seems to match this, in a way. She is an upbeat and warm firelizard, keen on loving and helping everyone in sight. This might mean that, as Raferties discovered, doing a chore for her might result in a grand adventure to find mysterious flowers on a cold mountainside, but... what can she say. She learned from the best! This also extends to things like bringing home wayward puppies and kittens, as well as a clingy sort of need to be around Raf as much as possible, at least until she makes a good friend who she can cling to just as much.... but, like I said, she's cute and those big old whirling eyes of hers are just so hard to resist.
It should be little surprise, giving her warm-hearted nature, that she should be sensitive to births. Whether Raf's shinies, or even denizens of the Weyr or Village, she will flock to the rooftops as the firelizards of ages gone used to, perching there and humming to welcome the children to the world. Her attentions might not be welcome, especially with private sorts, but there's really no helping it. It's what she does!
