Muted thunder rolled through the thick, dark clouds as they heralded an approaching storm over the valley. Seated on a high rise where only the most eagle-eyed of persons or creatures could spot him a figure in golden full plate sat on a flat impromptu 'chair' made from a large rock with the top shorn flat by his blade. Though the wind blew his loose, golden hair and ruffled his golden and crimson-tinged feathers sapphire blue eyes didn't so much as twitch even when a few tiny raindrops blew into them. His elbows were on his knees and his hands folded one other the other, lightly pressed against his mouth as his eyes scanned the landscape. Landscape he knew well. A village there, a place where a battle was staged, ruins that had once been a mighty fortress.
And everything in him, all his discreet, albeit distant investigations and divine senses, was screaming that something was terribly amiss.
With a gentle, leathery rustle a massive, bronze wing came over the Archangel in a sheltering gesture as the rain increased. The Bronze mottle's head curled around to look at her Rider, eyes whirling in concern and understanding at the same time.
What will we do, my K'dos? Zalanth asked. Keldos' shifted his gaze sidelong to her, then back to the valley for a moment before standing.
"The only thing we can do: act." With that Keldos climbed up the harness to her back, secured himself into the riding straps, and they flew off.

Between notifications in the Village and the interconnected nature of dragons the word would spread quickly, though not because of someone in the drum heights.
No offense to the Harpers, but Keldos knew the sound could carry and he didn't want any forewarning being given.
The message was simple: All who are willing to aid a community in danger, please come to the place on the map below. I will meet you there and explain more. Be warned - those with wings may find difficulty in this endeavor.

After getting word out Keldos returned to his ledge. There was a trail for those traveling by more grounded ways to hike up to the ledge, while a wide ledge above would allow for winged conveyance to land and let passengers descend down a short path. Keldos and Zalanth would be waiting there for those who would answer the call.
He could only pray to Solaris that someone would answer.

Ok, finally getting this up!
This will be a story-based Bonding, if the preamble wasn't clear on that. Things are happening, Keldos has intel, and needs assistance. Some out there might have a hunch about where this valley is and the reasons behind some tidbits of information already given. But this knowledge won't be necessary to participate or successfully Bond.
Now, as you see below I have only a limited number of Gryphons. So if more people join than I have creatures obviously some might not Bond. But you will not walk away empty-handed! There shall be rewards in the form of Shop Coins for those who do not Bond.
So, lets get adventuring!
... Oh yeah. Rules.
Aside from the obvious regarding TOS and site rules:
First post should be arrival at the ledge where Keldos and Zalanth wait. How you get there is up to you, as is how you found out that this call to assist was given. You can even stumble upon things without a clue as to what's going on. I will update in a couple of weeks, after which the Bonding will be closed.
You can bring up to two Bondeds. I won't limit size though be aware that depending on the route you take Bondeds of certain sizes might not fit.
As Keldos has hinted, those with wings - specifically angel, feathered wings - might face some difficulty. But this should by no means be a deterrent if a winged character should want to participate. All will be explained. (And who knows, you might do far more good than you could imagine.)
HAVE FUN!
