"Flares" by the Script. This song popped up on my Pandora awhile ago and slapped me upside the head with Dust feels. It really captures his ability to find light in the darkest of situations, even if it takes him awhile to do it.
"Zombie" by Bad Wolves. This one's kind of an odd fit in that it's less about Dust and more about how denizens of the Last City viewed Guardians, Dust among them. Guardians were supposed to be this unstoppable fighting force, and yet... at the same time, the very thing that made them so valuable cut them off from the people they were supposed to protect.
"King of Anything" by Sara Bareilles. The longer Jessera is out on her own, the more she comes into herself, and in the process she's shaking off a lot of the programming she picked up as a kid. It results in songs like this, saying, "I've got this, stop telling me I'm going to fail."
"Something Just Like This", by the Chainsmokers and Coldplay. A Telmaril song to wrap things up, and one that fits threads going on right now. The Warriors of Light are supposed to be superhuman, and Tel's taken that to heart. Songs like this are a good reminder that it's okay to just be human, especially when you're falling in love.
Can't remember if I linked this or not and internet was being a butt and no loading like it should sooooooo.....Anyway. This fits a possible character I may bring to the site? I haven't completely decided really. This song just makes me think of him. That much I do know.
