It's the season of love in Teragaia. Despite the snow still stubbornly sticking aroud, the sun is shining brightly down on the weyr and what snow does remain has been clumped together to clear the paths so that people can travel. Elsewhere, a howl pierces the air and is soon joined by another and another until a chorus of ten voices echoes seemingly throughout the entire forest. It's a summons if you've ever heard one, and for those whose hearts have been swept up by the goings-on of spring it would be an irresistible one. Gradually the sound fades, and in a clearing deep in the forests of Teragaia these canines await those who have heard their summons and are willing to respond to it.
A powder-blue dachshund with feathered wings rests their head on their paws, close - but not too close - to a hellhound with a pelt the same shade of dark gray as storm clouds. The hellhound himself is in surprisingly good health, for all that he does not bear a marking of rank as most others would. Nesting nearby is a volan white from ears to tail tip, just like the mistwatcher next to her. It had been the two of them who had initiated the summons, and though the volan herself could be rather impatient at times all of those present were aware that in this case their patience would be rewarded. Did that stop the Fantasma in question from fidgeting? Not in the slightest.
It wasn't long before the male illar's ears perked up and he stood up on all fours from where his other half had been resting against him. The dusty-brown mistwatcher awoke with a grumble and the Tellar gave him an apologetic lick before turning his gaze towards the trees. He could not yet place how many would be showing up to this most unusual of gatherings, but with any luck there would be enough that each of them would be able to find a safe place to stay with their significant other.
