When Kath hatched at Misuri Weyr, she was a Sea. And she was born during a time of fire and bloodshed when everything was in chaos. But she kept her head. She found her Ralael, and nothing could phase her or stop her on her journey. Despite the blood spilling on the Hatching Sands, she and hers got through the night with level heads and a healthy dose of positivity. Of course Kath is a realist, but the best thing to do then had been to keep Ralael calm and help the other Hatchlings make it out of the Sands as well. Many of her clutchmates owe her their lives. That is something Kath is very good at. Strategizing and keeping her head, keeping everyone else calm to make sure the things that need to get done, get done.

She has always, always backed Ralael's choices and decisions. She won't let Ralael do anything reckless of course, but together they are a fine team. None of her Wing has ever been grievously injured in a Fall, and she's proud of that fact. Kath takes pride in keeping others safe, in doing her job and her duty to the Weyr. Ralael is first and foremost in her mind of course, seconded by Kaelrin in the last two years, but her Weyr is directly after them. She often expressed interest to Ralael about taking on the Weyrlingmaster duties when Misuri Weyr's Weyrlingmaster retired. Kath likes to teach, likes to know that those taught by her will be safe and sound in the coming years.

To temper Ralael's quickfire attitude, Kath has always been slower to anger. She takes her time to look at every angle, every story, and then make a decision that she thinks will benefit them the most. She will not be hasty and jump to conclusions that could harm more people than it could save. This, too, has saved lives before. And Kath loves the water. She could happily spend all of her time in the ocean if allowed, when duties don't get in her way of course. When she wasn't hunting Wherry, Kath was hunting fish. It had a tendency to drive Ralael nuts, but that was fine. They love each other anyway.

The transition to Teragaia has changed Kath in a fundamental way. She is no longer a Sea dragon, parts of her have undoubtedly changed. What once was smooth hide is now mostly hide with scaling up her legs, along her underbelly, and across the edges of her wings. Her head knobs have changed to curling horns, and her spine ridges are now webbed. There's still an open gap for Ralael to sit, and for the riding harness to sit snugly across her chest, but Kath is larger now than before. She finds herself now to be the same size as a pureblooded Bronze when before she'd only been a little larger than a Brown. Her coloration has changed as well. Before she had been a deep sea blue-green, but now she is closer to the color of oxidized bronze. Bits of bronze brown and sea green twine together to give a weathered metal look. She doesn't hate it to be sure, it's just different. The most interesting thing to get used to though has been the ability to breathe lightning of all things. That is something she needs to get the hang of.

This girl stands at an impressive nine feet tall and she is very fluffy in appearance, she's a gorgeous one with her fur being an almost even blending of browns, reds and grays she looks like some kind of strange almost German Shepherd in terms of her patterning. She's a very heavily built girl for more of a gentle cuddler than a fighter, but don't get her wrong she will fight and defend children. She also has feathery wings instead of leathery ones.

This girl is a mother, she desires above all else to help with little ones of all species, she will seek them out and comfor them. She has a special connection with Kelrin and will do all she can to keep him safe from any and all harm. This girl is a stubborn and hard headed one if she decides that something is too dangerous for Kelrin she will absolutely lose her shit even on her bonded. She is fully willing to fight and defend her bonded but the baby first, bonded oddly second at least in her mind. She knew why she was called and it was to help keep Kelrin safe not to help Ralael but stills he will do what she can to help.

Her maternal instincts are incredibly strong and she will try to bring Ralael to any and all babies who may be bonding. She wants to have a hand in raising them since her own young will only be one at a time. She's very good at focus raising offspring and wants to try things beyond that, she wants to have a large Pack to fly with.
