Well, with the successful (if still in process) move to the new forum, and the little bugs being chased away, it's time to announce my next Bonding.
And why am I announcing it here? Well, if the title of this post hasn't given you a clue, this might:
DRAGONS!
Yes, I'm running a Dragons Bonding! Now, this won't be up for posting until sometime in September (just too much going on in Real Life for me to do so likely before the month is out) but in advance I'm posting the Dragon Homework.
Simply PM me this Questionnaire all filled out (even if it's a ton of 'I don't care, full creative liberty' across the board), so I can make your wonderful Dragon Partners.
I'm also going to allow, due to the... plans for this Bonding, if you have a character that you would like to be involved but NOT bond a Dragon, either just tagging along as a spectator or to be on the Grounds but fail to Bond (hey, story is important) send me a PM or append the information in a Questionnaire PM stating such (IE Sending Homework for Raferties, but Keldos will be there but not Bonding). For these characters I might have some extra goodies, though whether those will be RP goodies or Shinies or what, I'm not gonna say.
Ok, so here's the Homework! Have fun!
1. How important is your dragons heritage to you? Would you like a Mottle, or is your heart set on a pure-blooded Pernese dragon? This is important! Think hard, be honest. Tell me what you want, whether thats a pure-blooded original Pernese or a Mottle, and if Mottle, what wild dragon influences would you like? Colors, horns, frills, markings, breath weapon This is your chance for customization. You may or may not get the exact rank you want, but what kinds of heritage, colorations, markings, and breath weapon type are ALL up to you. (If you have any questions about the natures of the wild dragons, feel free to PM Heron or Kay.)
2. List five adjectives about your dragons personality that you would like to describe your dragon.
3. Now list five more adjectives you want to have describe your dragon.
4. Now give me five adjectives you DONT want describing your dragon.
5. What kind of worldview of your characters do you want your dragon to reflect? Is it a strong sense of justice? The drive to survive? Compassion? Apathy? Your dragon is a reflection of your character, so consider this carefully and be as specific as you can be. No detail is too small to include, and no idea is too unimportant to mention. If you need to ramble, then ramble, but make sure you tell me what you want!
6. What are your three favorite dragon ranks? And also, why are they your favorite ranks? What is it about these ranks in particular that you find appealing?
7. What are your least favorite ranks, or ranks you Do Not Want to bond at all? What is it about these ranks that you find specifically unappealing?
8. Is your heart set on any particular gender of dragon? If so, be sure to mention that, and, preferably, why.
9. And, finally, do you want me/your Dragon to elide your character(s)'s name(s)? (For example, a character named Jeremiah Impresses a Dragon. His player wants to elide Jeremiah's name, so the Dragon refers to him as J'miah or J'rem.)
