Raferties's song would grow stronger as Maybelian's grew weaker and weaker. Finally, as he moved to where more people could see him, she was forced to stop altogether. She couldn't compete with a voice that angelic (pun intended). And with that, Raferties and Rashanna would find it that much easier to bring people out from under the Siren's song.
Plopping down on the edge of the stage, she shot daggers to where the Solarian was standing. Oh. She could see you, but she knew Mickhalen couldn't. He was too busy with that hussy over there. Hanging on her every word. Soon enough though, she would come out from under the song and then Mickhalen would regret giving her that knife. If the Siren of course let any harm come to him. Which she wouldn't.
Not on her life.
But for now she would bide her time and save her energy. No point in fighting a losing battle at the moment, even if punishment would be coming for letting the song lapse into silence. She could take it.
She had taken worse.

Mickhalen was only too happy to stick close to Anari. This was his chance! His opportunity to be reunited with his damsel and to leave all this...riff raff behind him and take her away. He watched Anari closely, wondering if he could replicate her ritual should it be needed in the future. As he watched the blood fall into the bowl, the metallic sent hit him hard. It had been a bit since he had fed and she was right there...All but offering...
Not even asking, he reached out to left up her arm and lick along the cut.
"My dear starlight, please be careful! I would hate for you to fall ill from such a cut!" His voice was a low purr as he let the power of the blood flow through him. And he learned many things as his face took on a dark scowl. The number one thing being she did not have an ounce of arcane blood in her. Not that he knew of anyway. The second was the blood was threaded with a distinct something else. Something far more powerful and that quite frankly should not even be there.
Little did he know he was tasting her bond with Oroveth as the gold reassured herself her rider was fine.
He would play Anari's little game though. She might prove useful yet. Besides, maybe she was just jealous?

Tide wasn't overly concerned when Melonwei got...A bit more descriptive and gory in her future dealings with Mickhalen. Anything the former Veiled Sister wanted to do to him was fine by her. He had caused her life enough issues and while Tide was usually one for turning the other cheek...
She was more concerned hearing that Khareesh was cut off from the sky. She well remembered what that did to him and she didn't need Rashanna's reminder. The only upside to that at all was the fact that Khareesh was alive. For the moment. Unless he gave himself a heart attack in his panic. Which he very well could do and and and...
Be still my heart. All will be well. I am on my way to help keep Myth contain. Your storm will be fine.
Her heart swelled as Lenaarth spoke to her. Like waves on a beach. Constant. There. In. Out. She took calming breaths as other bonded pipped in. Ithakath giving a quiet reassurance as well as her familiars backing up and giving their own two sense about what could be done to Mickhalen. Nothing from Bob or Sinet or some of the others yet, but she knew they were coming. After all, if the dragons were back, the others couldn't be far behind right?
She just had to make sure everyone survived to be reunited again.

Monkey Wench didn't need to be invited twice and buzzing up to nestle in Melonwei's hair, she was quite glad Anari had needed a knife. This was so much better than sticking around that clumsy old band with that banshee of a singer! Speaking of which...Monkey Wench didn't hear her singing? Did someone finally stuff a sock in it?
About the time that Monkey Wench noticed that Maybelian wasn't singing so did quite a few others. Most notably Tide and Mickhalen.
The vampyre's head snapped up just as Tide turned to Jenna and Melonwei.
"Ready or not, the time is now!" Tide would like to have known more, but she was pretty sure why Maybelian had stopped singing. She also knew it wouldn't take Mickhalen that long to figure it out either. Especially as Raferties's voice was still carrying just a bit.
As Tide cleared off another platter (probably much to Jenna's dismay as the food just hit the floor), she hoped that Raferties would be okay.
For thing were about to go down.

The Night looked at August, slowly understanding his use of words and delighting in the sheer...Arachic value of them. I know not who. I am not privy to that information. But I am told that he craves her. Like an addict craves their vice. And his plan? I know not either. Other than he will do anything to gain her under his control. In fact... A pained wince came across his features at his next words. He plans to use my sister as a way of threat.
Lifting a wing, he pointed it toward the door, a grim tone to his voice. You may leave at any time. Those chimes seem to have open just about every door in this place. At least lock wise. Simply go through and leave. Since you can. He wouldn't be joining you August if you chose to leave him behind. But if you chose to exit the door...You would be in the same hallway the others had found, though some of the doors would lack riddles now. For some odd reason.
But as the Night pointed out, the choice was up to you no.

Oh Kind Sir! We Can Certainly Let You Know As You Wander. But Should You Not See To Your Companion First? The two athid would glance at Khareesh as he ran around the room screaming in panic and...They honestly wasn't sure what was happening to him in general. Just that he would seem very upset about something and maybe they should address that issue before they address anything else?
Like the fact that blood magic was at work. Or the fact that all these pipes and stuff would lead to a room that was practically next door. And such. The clever way that Kemori found to let the ladybugs help would almost work against them when it came to the vial, but in no uncertain terms they would make it clear that he shouldn't touch that. Unless he wanted to kill the person whose blood that was. And then by all mean. Go ahead and do it.
Just be prepared to have a furious Caradas on your tails for the rest of your life. Which would just be the tip of a huge iceberg.

The athid nodded at Elzathiel's willingness to help out and set off to the end of the worktable to start dragging various items closer. I have lost track if we would like to count you and the rest of the like. But suffice to say it is a lot. As for what you will be helping me with... He pulled out a diagram and started to point out pieces of it.
You see. In the room over, there is a bat...batt...battery. The words would be hard to get out, but he would get them out. We must repair the shielding of bonds. As despicable as that sounds. He didn't agree with it, but he would be damned if he let one of his machines fall apart on him without trying to fix it! His life and others were on the line and he would at least try.

Eyes tracking, it wouldn't take long before Mickhalen spotted Raferties. Snapping his fingers, he turned on his heel towards Maybelian. "Maybelian! Unleash her."
A look of horror would appear on the Siren's face for a moment before she sung a few notes. Not controlling ones, but ones that worked like a key. And once the last note died. Several things would happen at once.
A roc, blood streaming, would appear on the ceiling. After dropping down a hole in her cell. What goes down must come up?
The chain that the roc was suppose to have would be dripping molten to the guest below thanks to the archdevil she still held in her beak.
The chandelier would finally fall, the wing beats finally breaking the last strand holding it up.
Both the light fixture and the archdevil would fall (as she finally let go of his arm to let out a war cry) together, though at probably vastly different rates and landing in different spots. Advantage goes to wings after all.
The roc, not carrying, would dive for anything and anyone she saw. So blood crazed and enraged, she wouldn't even remember who her original target would be.
Chaos would quickly follow as the guests scrambled out of the way of claws and glass. Mickhalen would be furious, moving to stride towards Maybelian so he may strike her across the face. Provided Anari let him get that far of course.
Quietly, but growing louder by the minute, a voice would rise above the noise. Above the chaos. A calming one. A soothing one. While the undercurrent may or may not affect those around her, Tidesweep was singing to one and one alone. Claws Out was getting a very special lullaby sung to her in order to calm her down.
Even as Mickhalen stopped and turned towards the voice and the one singing.
"Found you."
((And Chaos! Glorious Chaos! Let me know if I missed anything!))
Raferties's song would grow stronger as Maybelian's grew weaker and weaker. Finally, as he moved to where more people could see him, she was forced to stop altogether.
