Dominic let out a quiet hum as he stood before the Veiled Shrine. Though he'd visited it many times over the...had it been five years already? He wasn't sure, though he had celebrated a birthday just a few months ago with those he'd come to see as his closest friends and family. But he was digressing. Regardless of how long it had been, the Veiled Shrine had never taken the same shape twice during the many times he'd come to visit it and he wasn't surprised to see that it had changed yet again. Its outward appearance betrayed no hints as to who might be waiting within, though Finora pressed gently against him nonetheless to provide comfort. She and Adalwyn had opted to accompany him today, and he absently reached out to place a hand on her back. "Are you worried?" he murmured to her. A little, but it's most likely because you are as well, she answered, making Dominic chuckle a little sheepishly. He wasn't surprised that she could read him like an open book, being as much a part of him as Adalwyn was.

Well, we shouldn't waste any more time just sitting here, Adalwyn remarked. Seeing as we won't get to meet the newest members of our family if we don't go inside. Dominic let out a hum of agreement before entering the shrine, taking a deep breath to prepare himself for what the three of them might find. He could hear a bit of splashing, but he couldn't say for sure whether he was going to be bonding an aquatic being (or beings) or one who just enjoyed the water.
