Name: Cain Skelington
Nickname: Disney...If you really want to agitate him that is (and if you are from a place that could make the connection between how his last name sounds and another certain living skeleton)
Race: Living Skeleton. Was once human.
Age: Around 800 years old
Height: Varies between 6'2" and...To as tall as his skull. All depends on where his bones have gotten too.
Physical Description: A skeleton. No eyes. No muscle. Just bone. Most of his bone is a slight off white color except for one of two pieces. Those he either got fresh or had to clean on his own. Usually with beetles and bleach. Both he hates. Sometimes he wears a blonde or brunette wig when he doesn't want his skull to get cold. Cause yes. Despite not having any sort of temp regulators (it may even be the absence of these that cause this), he does feel cold and heat. Mostly cold.
When ever he is outside in public, he wears a long sleeved shirt, pants , boots and a hat. How the clothes stay on him is a slight mystery, but he does have to resew a lot of his clothes so that they will fit his lanky frame. He gave up hiding his hands though awhile back though he will put bandages around his eye holes so as not to freak people out too bad. It doesn't affect his vision any. His height actually varies at times and if you ever seen him after having to replace a leg, he is all loop-sided until the magic that keeps him alive kicks in and fixes the length of both his legs till they match. When he isn't in public or around people he is comfortable with, he doesn't wear anything. Why bother with all that trouble? After all, he was just bones and bones don't offend most people.
His chosen weapons are guns that have been inscribed with special runes that make them almost impossible to break. Doesn't protect them from loss though. Or really running out of ammo. But if push comes to shove, he can use them as blunt force objects. He also keeps a knife strapped to his ribs that is a mixture of silver and iron. If one side doesn't affect you....The other sure will.
Personality: Brave. Smart. Stupid. Loyal. Short-tempered. Patient. All can be used to describe this bag of walking bones. He does whatever it takes to make sure the people in his area and those he cares for are protected from the immortals/things that should honestly be dead/things that go bump in the night who would kill them without a second thought. He may seem hard as his bones on the outside, but once you get to know him, he really is a big sweetheart and push over. He can barely say no to any body and often finds himself up to his neck in all sorts of tasks. Like baking cookies for a meeting or helping someone weed their garden or even babysitting. He tends to plan out an attack if there is time and if there isn't...Well, he isn't half bad thinking up on the fly. Fear of death isn't something he has to worry about. He is a walking skeleton after all so he's already met Death once and will welcome him like an friend when he sees him again.
That or Death will just kick him out of the Realm of the Dead for being lazy and not doing his job.
Powers:
Healing: Cain...Doesn't suffer flesh wounds. Hard to when you don't have flesh to begin with. However, his bones can take damage and chunks can be gouged out...Or chewed. His healing is not fast though. At least not as fast as it should be. Broken bones can be healed in one to two days and new bones can be accepted within a day. Gouges and the like take at least half a day and he can no regrow bones he has lost. In the midst of battle, this is more of a hindrance than an asset and you can often see Cain avoiding damage for these very reasons. You can also see him robbing old graves and even animal carcasses as well for back up bones. He pays the proper respects though, but...Well, he will use them and they want so...
Sixth Sense: He has this uncanny ability to know when someone is supernatural or not. Vampire, Siren, Werewolf, Journeyman, Angel...If you are trying to hide it, chances he can pick up on it. The only downside...You have to be full blown for him to accurately guess. So in cases like Tide and Gwydion, he wouldn't be able to accurately guess the supernatural being. The accuracy of his guess depends on how diluted the bloodline is. Or magic line as in some cases. This ability is a passive one and...To be honest, easy to ignore for him. Subconsciously...He knows. Consciously? Unless you are fighting him and he needs the information...Nope. Doesn't know it. For him, it isn't a party trick and therefore, whatever he knows, he keeps to himself. Not every supernatural being is a threat and he isn't going to out anyone unless they prove otherwise.
Knife Skills: Cain is pretty good with a knife. Not his preferred weapon as it requires close combat usually, but he can handle it well enough that he doesn't cut himself with it. He also doesn't fit fair with it. He knows he isn't the greatest with a knife and if he has to pull one out...Well, you can expect that all the rules just went out the window and nearly nothing is off limits. There is stuff he still wouldn't due, but that is just him personally.
Knife throwing - He can throw his knife pretty well (it does have a call back rune craved into it so it will eventually come back to him if he doesn't pick it up...Though it usually ends up stabbing him and he has found it in his ribs multiple times if he doesn't retrieve it). He only has about an 65% chance of hitting the target though and thus, generally likes keeping it in hand.
Guns: He is actually a fairly good sharp shooter. With ammo for nearly every occasion, he rarely doesn't have a bullet for the job...So long at the job is supernatural in nature. His guns are simple and fairly old fashion. The chambers can hold 10 shots each and much like old west six shooters, can spin. The barrel has been modified over the years to be highly accurate and the runes that are etched into it help this as well. Don't doubt Cain's skill either. He always hits what he is aiming at...For the most part. Sometimes he hits a person's foot instead of their torso, but it technically still counts. Technically.
Ammo making: Pretty straightforward, he actually makes his own ammo. After all, most of it is for battle supernatural beginnings and he would rather just relay on himself than someone else. Helps keep the blame to just himself if something goes wrong.
Vulnerabilities: Bones are actually fairly easy to take apart. If he looses his body, he is screwed. Really, unless he can see his body, the magic that animates him is only stuck in his head. He also tends to dislike dogs...For obvious reasons, but he can tolerate them.
