Mama gently set Shy down in front of the entrance to the shrine, Fratellone tilting his head. Remind me why we're here again? he asked, glancing over at the vessel he saw as his sibling. Shy just patted him reassuringly before turning their head back towards the darkness. Mama was quiet, but she did take Shy's tiny hand in her own larger one when they offered it to her, and Fratellone did the same. The three of them entered the shrine together, and though Mama's expression was nothing but relaxed she was keeping a protective eye out just in case something happened and she needed to protect her young charge. They had yet to have their first adolescent molt after all, which would have been worrying if she hadn't been informed that vessels tended to grow slowly.
When several minutes passed and nothing happened, Fratellone began to shift around. He seemed a bit antsy, but Shy gave his hand a gentle squeeze to reassure him. They could hear something moving in the darkness, and they glanced down towards the ever-present pool of water to see if they might be able to catch a glimpse of what awaited them. Hopefully whoever it was wouldn't be too intimidating or scary, considering that their mother and brother were already somewhat on edge.

(OOC: Claiming a Naiad nadur and Archangel starmane for ten BP! Hoping for an admin to make these.)
The Veiled Shrine was a peaceful, serene place today. A gentle breeze sent warm currents and the perfumed air from the sun-lit gardens everywhere. Butterflies fluttered here and there sipping tranquilly at blossoms. Though the circular pool that was ever at the center of the Shrine was unchanged a fountain merrily trickled beneath a climbing rose arbor. It was a place that one could almost take a nap.
Well, at least that was the opinion of the Starmane that was dozing in the sun. A Nadur was admiring the flowers though when Shy came into view she turned and brightened, leaning over to nudge the equine awake before approaching.
Hello, I'm so glad you meet you. You can call me Tara. Then she leaned forward and whispered another name to Shy, one known just between them and the Nadur's mother. The Starmane joined them after he'd stood and shaken his mane out from his nap. He didn't speak, naturally, as Starmanes never do, but his nuzzle was affectionate nevertheless.
Bond! A Loving Sweetheart Female Naiad Nadur, Tara and The People's Hero Male Archangel to ?Shy *****************************
A Loving Sweetheart Female Naiad Nadur, Tara
Mindspeech: Italics #ff71ee
Tara is a Nadur who has a very loving heart. She struggles when confronted with the suffering or hardship of others; she has before wept on their behalf. So it's not too surprising that she naturally took well to being a healer. What better way to ease another's pain than to mend their wounds, treat their illness, and if she can restore their spirits though that is often the hardest task of them all. She has an extensive knowledge of plants and their medicinal uses that she isn't afraid to use. Sadly, she is a bit naïve when it comes to the extremes of darkness that others can reach. While this tendency to hold out hope for anyone and everyone it does leave her vulnerable to being taken advantage of or even harmed herself. Surely having someone kindly that can look out for her would be in Tara's best interests.
A delicate four-feet tall, Tara is pure white in color with a pale yellow blanket across her flanks; it almost looks like she's wearing a lacy skirt. Her eyes are mint green. She has a pale gold sock on her right foreleg and favors the leg when offering comfort. As a female Naiad she has no antlers.
Courageous and compassionate, the People's Hero is a Starmane born to a life of service. He is a driven individual especially when the welfare of others is on the line. The People's Hero isn't afraid to face danger but he's honestly more comfortable following than leading with leeway given for him to improvise after that point. He adores children and is ever gentle with them, happily playing when them and carrying them about on his back for rides. He is level-headed, even in times of peril which is a good thing when children are involved. For all these accolades, the People's Hero is humble. Nothing he does is worth more to him than a simply, sincere thank you and a smile, knowing he even in a small way has made a difference in someone's life.
A long-legged creature is the People's Hero. He has the build of a Akhal-Teke standing at fourteen hands, or about four and a half feet tall, at the shoulder. His coat is shiny silver and his hairs, light strands, and stars are just a shade lighter; he could easily be compared to a literal star fallen to earth. His six ethereal wings, when manifested, only adds to that image. His prismatic hooves glimmer with each step while his blue eyes inspire both confidence in him and assurance that he is both good and kind.
Shy listened quietly as Tara whispered her name to them, committing it to memory. They would do their best not to get them mixed up since secret names were really important, at least based on their limited knowledge. Luckily, the names themselves were very different so they shouldn't make that mistake. They gently patted Tara as the equine approached, Mama seeming pleased if the smile on her face was any indication. She didn't speak, but Shy didn't expect her to. Clearly these two meant no harm to them, otherwise the two gargoyles that had come with them would have stepped in by now.
It took a few moments for Shy to decide on a name for the starmane, but since he'd come with Tara he deserved to have a name that starting with the same letter, right? After considering several options, they finally decided on the name Tenderheart, carefully spelling out the name so that the starmane could hopefully understand it. Just to be sure, though, they wrote it in the dirt since their new bonded might not understand sign language.
