To truly love someone and be loved in return, one's deepest secrets must be revealed and accepted. To Love is well aware of this and of Reprise's own secrets, that they harbor a vengeful streak a mile wide should they be wronged, and they are perfectly willing to love them with all of their being just the same. This particular cuddlebug resembles a simple dark brown centipede at first glance, but in the proper lighting it becomes clear that their coloration is closer to that of a pigeon-blood ruby, and their eyes are the brownish-gray shade of smoky quartz. They are also surprisingly quick (courtesy of their legs being designed for movement), and whenever given the chance they are all too happy to wrap themself around Reprise's neck or curl up on top of their head. They are a gentle sort, as all Solars tend to be, though To Love is very selective about who they choose to show their vulnerabilities to. Because of this, they will often look to Reprise to get a second opinion on whether someone is worthy of the love they and their bonded can offer.

Stop And Smell The Flowers Male Day Roc

From a glance, Flowers could tell that Reprise had a rough beginning. He can identify with that, having just barely made it out of the egg himself and as a result just barely reaching the minimum size for a typical roc. He's taken the form of a mountain bluebird, with all the softness and roundness that said form entails. He is always quick to remind his loved ones to take breaks when he feels they're overworking themselves, to stay hydrated, and that it's never a bad thing to take one's time and relax. This includes but is certainly not limited to Reprise, their bondeds, and of course his mate; he will also extend his kindness to those who Reprise cares about and trusts, even using his size to his advantage and scooping them up should they prove particularly stubborn. Flowers is also a cuddler, and he's unable to sleep properly unless he's nestled with someone else. His warmth and the softness of his feathers make him a great napping spot for anyone willing to climb into his nest for some sleep (a nest that is typically made up of the softest items he can find).

In Darkness, There Is Light Genderfluid Night Hippogryph

Larger than the average hippogryph, even if only slightly, In Darkness stands at around five feet six inches tall. This hippogryph sports primarily black plumage with lighter gray markings along their wings. Coloration aside, they resemble a spotted owl in terms of their head, neck, forelimbs, and wings (complete with the aforementioned wing speckling) while their equine half is akin to that of a Friesian horse. In Darkness is a highly dedicated worker, and if not made to take a break will oftentimes forget to stop and eat when immersed in the projects they have chosen to take up. It's a good thing, then, that they have Flowers by their side! This persistence also lends itself to stubbornness however, and though they have intimate knowledge of the void and how much it can withstand it doesn't mean that they are willing to let Reprise risk themself willy-nilly. Even void beings have their limits, especially when restricted to a fragile shell that can fracture and break (and unfortunately In Darkness is all talons and hooves, meaning that they wouldn't be able to do a thing should Reprise get injured; just don't bring it up, as they dislike being reminded of it).

To Heal the Healers Female Mercy Unicorn

Treating others' illnesses is an often thankless, endless task. It can be wearying on even the strongest of spirits. But when one's calling is to take care of others the question often isn't asked: who heals the healer? Well, one unicorn thought of it and decided, 'I will.' Heal the Healers is a frequent sight in the infirmary and while she will happily help what she can with the patients her real focus is on those treating them. She makes herself available to talk with the healers, listening to their troubles and letting them vent their stress. They can cry on her soft shoulders. She tucks blankets over their shoulders when they catch a nap and brings treats to keep them going. And on their worst days, when their skills aren't enough and there is no more they can do, she will offer her final service for the ill. If they wish it she will lay her horn on them and end their pain, taking their last moment onto herself quietly so her dear physicians won't have to witness it.
Like all Mercy unicorns, Heal and Healers is a lovely ebony black in pelt, mane and tail. She has the leonine tail of a Heraldic unicorn, and her mane is shorter than most unicorns' manes and set in an updo of locks. Her steel horn is kept not only clean but sterile as she doesn't want to ever contaminate a patient with further sickness. Her golden eyes are always kind and gentle and her Mindvoice soft. She isn't a terribly tall equine coming in at barely twelve hands, or four feet, at the shoulder but she's sturdy and strong.

At no time do people need protecting more than when they are ill, injured, and at their most vulnerable. What better calling than to be the one who stands watch over them and their caretakers? That was what Keeper dedicated his existence to for many years. He kept a quiet, secret watch over a simple rural doctor's practice for the man's entire career. But then he retired and moved to warmer climates, with no one left to take over. And sadly the gargoyle, not Bonded to the man, was left adrift…until he met a certain Mercy unicorn, who was out gathering needed medical herbs. As he also knew what they were for they started talking and when she returned to Haven Village and Weyr he followed her. He took up guardianship of whatever place of healing she happened to be at that day. They developed first a friendship, and then it grew to a warm romance. He watches over not only the place of healing but his beloved unicorn, escorting on her outdoor errands and perching nearby to windows where he can watch her while she served indoors. He's quiet, but dedicated, and as solid an individual as you can ever hope to meet.
Keeper, as Watcher Gargoyles typically do, has a humanoid-like form standing around six feet tall. He is a dark granite color with a few thing streaks and flecks of white, with sapphire-colored eyed. His forward-pointing horns are tipped with rubies and of late are often smeared with streaks of myrrh and adorned with chamomile leaves and petals as he helps with his beloved's herb gathering.

Treasures of the Deep Male Pelagic Hippocampus

Sunken ships, oyster pearls, beautifully smoothed stones and water-polished glass. These are just some of the many treasures that the ocean has to offer to those that know how to find them, and Treasures of the Deep knows well their secret locations. For a long time he sought out these jewels for his own personal collection as he didn't have anyone to share his enthusiasm with, carefully stored in an underwater cave he keeps concealed by a thick curtain of living seaweed. Then by chance he saw a stone that fell from the heavens into the water. It glimmered with metallic accents and he dove to get it. Upon turning surface-ward however he saw a shadow flying back and forth above. Someone else had seen the falling star and was seeking it. Breeching the Hippocampus spied the most beautiful Pegasus he had ever seen and without hesitation, for the first time ever, surrendered his newfound trinket to her. Over the weeks and months they came together often to display new finds and older glories, bonding over their shared love of these treasures and the hunt to find them, and before either knew it the fondness had turned into love. They spend hours at the beach together and give one another special treasures as love tokens. Treasures of the Deep considers that fallen star - half of which he keeps in his undersea grotto - his greatest find, as it gave to him his greatest treasure ever, his beloved Breeze.
Treasures of the Deep is a Hippocampus that is more half-and-half than others. His front (or upper, depending on his current physical orientation) is equine with a horse's head and forelegs, though in place of a mane is a vertical, translucent sea green fin running from the crest of his head down to the midpoint of his back. Like fetlocks a long, flowing, sea-green fin trails behind each hoof. The rest of him recalls the sea like a dolphin's tail, thick with a horizontal tail so that all who see him swim know at a glance that he's a mammal, not a fish. He's a dark gray creature, nearly black, with white triangular patches across his shoulders and a white underside speckled with black. His horse legs have white socks with black hooves and his tail is like a whale's in that it is marked with black and white in a clearly identifying pattern. A white band starts on one eye, encircles the back of his head, and concludes on the other eye like an open-front halo.


Treasures of the Sky Female Breeze Pegasus
Treasures of the Sky has always adored the stars. The way they twinkle, glitter, eternal jewels of the heavens yet equally eternally out of reach. So when she was young mare imagine her delight when she found out that sometimes, rarely, stars 'fall' from the sky! What a delight, that the heavens would give her a gift! Yes, she fully understands that meteorites are not stars but that they come from that same realm makes them her greatest treasures. She hunts for them like it's a giant scavenger hunt, offering trades to those who have them and storing every one of them safely away in a high mountainside cave with rocks closing the entrance so any creature larger than she is probably couldn't enter it, and most find locating it difficult. Here she arranges them on natural stone shelves so their semi-metallic surfaces glitter in the sunlight that filters in from above. They are her prizes for her personal game of hide and seek. Then one night she saw something that sparked joy in her heart; a falling star breeching the clouds and falling towards the water. Though she flew as fast as she could she wasn't quick enough to get there before it hit the water. As the steam billowed up in her face she flew back and forth, frustrated and trying to think on how to get it. Then from below a shadow rose up. It wasn't some kind of thread, however - it was a Hippocampus, a rather handsomely formed creature, who had the fallen star and to her delight offered it to her. That moment sealed the connection between them. They began displaying their treasure to one another on the beach and whenever one finds something the other is the first one they let know. That she can't Mindspeak matters little; they understand one another easily enough. They find special treasures and give them as gifts to one another. More and more they spent time together, sometimes just enjoying one another's company, and love was quick to bloom. She cherishes the fallen star that led her to him, kept on a special shelf in her mountainside treasury, because it brought her to her wish come true, her dear Pelagic.
Were she not a Pegasus, Treasures of the Sky might be the kind of horse that would give breeders a start. She as all Breeze Pegasus has the black and white, irregular patchy coat of a paint showing the frame overo marking, a potentially fatal pattern for offspring she may bear. Thankfully she isn't a mundane horse; she is a Pegasus and thus it's just cosmetic. Her eyes are sky blue as her face is white while her mane and tail are black, as are her wings.

Elegant and Wild Male Dusk Majebe

Prowling stealthily through the shadows and trees. Noble and wild and the embodiment of all the mystique of nature. That is how Elegant and Wild sees himself. Though he's a hunter and in his opinion quite good at it, he's also fastidious in his habits. He keeps himself immaculately groomed and whenever he knows someone's watching he ensures his best side faces them or strikes poses and turns his head in ways he knows enhances his poise. Perhaps one could say that Elegant and Wild is a bit narcissistic, but he doesn't care. In fact there's only one opinion that he considers valid: that of his wonderful Nympkin. He acts as her model and mannequin. He trusts her to garb him in accessories to make him look like a Majebe king. It's both the symbol of their relationship and how they met. She was seeking inspiration and, after glimpsing him lounging on a fallen tree, was suddenly struck by how the golden sunlight fell across his pelt and the drape of a line of ivy above his head. Taken by surprise by her sudden burst of enthusiasm as she rushed forward, making request for him to stay still, now lift his head, look that way, he realized she was in awe of his amazing appearance. Admittedly, at first it wasn't love but slowly, over months, he found he cared less about others opinions and gaze on himself and only about her. Now he lets his beloved style him as her King of the Jungle.
Elegant and Wild is a truly regal Majebe. Weighing in at around three hundred pounds of pure muscle beneath a pelt that starts dark violet along back, shoulders, and the back of his head. It lightens to a lavender on his underside. His paws and the tips of his two tails are a slightly more blue shade of lavender. He has the mane of his rank, small and extending around his face to his cheeks rather than down his neck and a dusty purple to continue his color theme. His smoke matches his mane. This purple makes the emerald of his eyes stand out even more.


The Fashion Forward Female Adhair Nympkin

Live fabulously! That's Fashion Forward's life motto. A Nympkin with an eye for what looks good she loves to create adornments for others. Drapes and cloaks are her forte as she does lack proper thumbs and there's only so much she can do with her mouth, but nevertheless she produces amazing results. Granted, she can have rather vocal opinions on other's fashion tastes, and can come across as pushy when she sees someone 'in need' of her services. It's just enthusiasm, promise. And when her Fashion Muse disappears she goes into a deep grump lasting sometimes days. It was during one of these slumps that she was fated to meet the one who would become her inspiration in living form and her beloved. While wandering the wilds seeking ever-elusive inspiration she saw a vision lounging on a fallen tree, a lord of the forest touched by gold and curtained in green. Overwhelmed Fashion Forward instantly bounced to him and begged him to let her style him. The rest as they say is history. Now she spends much of her time creating simply divine accessories and attire for her Elegant and Wild paramour, he who is her eternal love and inspiration.
Her favorite treat is chocolate, preferably in small pieces like miniature bars or small shaped chocolates that she can delicately pick up with her class to eat. Can't be getting melted chocolate all over her material and thread now can she?
Fashion Forward is a white Adhair of average housecat size. Purple markings like curling ribbons tumble over her coat and her eyes are the vibrant blue of deep sky.

The Gentle, Generous Caretaker Female Seraph Starmane
There is little that brings a soft smile to this Starmane's face than the sight of young ones, be it her own kind or another. Generous Caretaker often takes it upon herself to watch over the young of many species, often bringing snacks and drinks, or an umbrella to offer a shady spot, and a warm side to cuddle up against for an afternoon nap. That was how she met her Vigilant Sentinel, when she spied a group of young Lepicerin playing and thought it would be nice to bring some leafy treats to them. At first the Jackalope challenged her, as any good Jackalope would do, but once she made her intentions known he let her near the kits. The afternoon ended up with all of them cuddled together in a sunny patch of grass, and started a long friendship that developed into a deep mutual respect and affection.
Generous Caretaker is a [uel=https://www.cloud9walkers.com/Amy043014a.jpg]graceful[/url] Starmane, with long legs and standing about five feet tall at the shoulder. Her pelt is primarily dusty lavender streaked with pale pink, light golden, and deeper tones of purple with a pale golden like the setting sun. Her mane, tail, and the hairs around her hooves are the shining gold and rosy pink of dawn, studded with tiny sun-bright stars. The only thing she wishes is that her four ethereal wings could be more tangible when she manifests them so she could offer shade beneath them to her young charges.


The Vigilant Sentinel Male Jackalope Lepicerin

The young are vulnerable. So much can happen to them that between one blink and the next tragedy can strike. This is a fact that Vigilant Sentinel has witnessed first-paw, and he has vowed to never let it happen again. To many he seems to be a serious Lapicerin, suspicious of everyone and seeing everything as a threat. But the core of his heart is that it cares too much, hurts too much when things happen he feels he could be able to prevent. So though the young ones generally consider him 'scary' he is always there when they go out to play, ever alert. Should danger threaten he is prepared to spring forward and fight to the bitter end to ensure they can get to safety (yes, even if said 'young ones' are far stronger and larger and more battle-capable than he is). That was how he met Generous Caretaker, and through her kindness and their mutual adoration of children came to love her. She's been helping him slowly relax his demeanor and be more approachable to the little ones he cares so much about, but it's a process.
Vigilant Sentinel is fairly large for a Jackalope, standing about twenty inches tall at the shoulders. His golden fur has only two spots of white; a large patch on his chest and a white front right paw. His ears stand up straight - the better to listen for potential trouble. His eyes are brown and his antlers are rather impressive with no less than ten points.

The Watchful Father Male Protector Gargoyle

It can be difficult to be around certain creatures when you're a large stone serpent. Watchful Father had always found himself drawn to children of any species but many times they were afraid of him. He was bit, and not comfortable to cuddle up to. Even when he smiled he looked scary because of his fangs. So for a long time he contented himself as best he could watching from afar; he was their silent, secret guardian angel. That was until he spotted something surprising in the mountains: a white bear, traveling with determination up the steep climb with a young Watcher Gargoyle in tow. The way the young one clung to her fur touched his heart and when the Polar Ursa asked for guidance he was happy to give it. But even after they departed he couldn't get them out of his mind. So there was only one thing that Watchful Father could do: find the pair and help ensure that the young Gargoyle grew up well. And their family became whole, with every new foster that they bring in.
Watchful Father is a long Gargoyle as should come to no surprise, stretching twelve feet from end to end. He had two front 'arms' and the rank's horns that can almost act like a handle for a rider (or some species of Bonded young ones). His body is quite striking with the red, orange, yellow, white, black, and blue-gray banding of desert jasper. In particular the tips of his horns and the tips of his back fins are crimson. His eyes are deep emerald in color.


The Nurturing Mother Female Polar Ursa Tempus

Gentle, loving, Keeper of the Future is the very definition of 'natural mother.' Though she has yet to birth a cub of her own she is very willing to take in any youngling that needs protection and guidance, providing for their every need and their education. That is incidentally how she met the one who would become her soul mate and partner; Nurturing Mother had found a lost Gargoyle youngling and was traveling in the foothills to seek a Gargoyle to consult on the proper care to use. She saw Guardian Father sunning on a rock and after their conversations he continued to seek her out, 'checking in' on the young one. Even after the young Gargoyle was old enough to take care of himself the elder Protector stuck around, and they became a unique family. Just whatever you do, do not threaten her family!
Being a Polar Ursa Tempus it should come as no surprise that Nurturing Mother is white all over with a black nose. Her eyes are deep blue like the depths of the northern seas or the heart of a glacier.

The Composed Little Empress Female Ember Phoenix

This Phoenix has not had an easy life, and she truly has had to rise from the ashes like her Species legends. She once had a mate, to the amazement of many a Blaze Phoenix. They met young, got along quite well, and for a few years were devoted mates. But there was in truth no love between them; it was a union where they were more just used to things than anything, and it was childless. Then one day out of the blue another Phoenix began a chase, and he was the sole participant! He claimed he no longer wanted to be her mate. Though Little Empress didn't outwardly take offense she wasn't about to take this lying down. She'd made friends with a Day Roc that lived nearby and he'd shown interest in her, so she went to him and he welcomed her. He never pressured her into a relationship but she made the first move much to his delight (and the frustration of her ex-mate who still wasn't quite over her it seems). But she's happy, and slowly beginning to show more overt warmth to her new mate whom she truly does cherish with all her heart. She can come across as cool, composed, and even emotionless, but beneath all that is a warm, affectionate creature that is never rattled by the actions of others.
Little Empress is an elegant creature even at two feet tall. Though her feathers are ashy gray it's a shiny, well-groomed gray that she tends to daily. She has a long, almost crane-like neck and long, trailing tailfeathers that stream behind her when she flies. Her eyes are golden and can be either warm or like the sparks that dance in her plumage when she lets her oft-silent anger emerge.

The Gentle King Male Day Roc

Gentle, warm, and loving, Gentle King is equally noble in demeanor and poise. He met Little Empress when he was invited by her then-mate to a celebration for a mutual friend's firstborn and from the moment he saw her he was in love. She was elegant and beautiful and if she hadn't been devoted to the other Phoenix he would've pursued her himself. But he kept in contact, and when he found out about her situation he instantly offered her sanctuary. It was much to his surprise when a few months later she announced to him that she was about to initiate a chase and she wanted him to chase her and become her new mate. He could scarcely believe the honor she did him, and since then he's been her devoted, adoring mate.
Gentle King is on the smaller side for a Roc, about the size of a racehorse. Appropriately he looks quite a bit like a love bird with their cuddly bodies, delicately hooked beak, and smiling faces. His feathers are a a pale yellow with rosy dusting along his flight feathers and along the crest of longer feathers that crown his head. His sky blue eyes are always kind and, when he turns his gaze upon his beloved, warm and doting.

Look Beyond Female Angel Familiar

Most everyone says that appearances aren't everything. But it's also much harder to put that into practice; the most altruistic of individual will still be impacted by first impressions, which are made with the eyes long before a word is spoken. Look Beyond sadly knows this all too well. Her appearance, resembling a vulture, often frightens or disturbs others when she's around. She's a really sweetheart, loving and affectionate and always ready for a cuddle. Sadly for a long time no one would take a chance. That is until of all species and ranks a Fiend familiar crossed her path. He asked her why she was so glum and when she told him he replied 'So what? They don't matter. Be yourself.' Never before had anyone ever told her that and from that moment her heart was given. Now she's a familiar of two hearts; half to Echo and half to Be You and spends her days happily encouraging others to look past the surface and find out who or what lay at the heart.
Look Beyond is a vulture in form, specifically a Eurasian griffon vulture, with a fluffy white, downy head ringed with a 'necklace' of long, slender feathers, brown body about three feet long, and seven foot wide wings with mixed dark and light brown feathers. Her beak is mostly white-cream with a lipstick-like lining of light gray and her brown eyes are warm and gentle, inviting physical contact and affection.

Be Who You Are Male Fiend Familiar

Fiend familiars aren't known for their softer emotions. For most of his life Be You was much the stereotypical Fiend. He was a cunning creature. He was always good at his words especially when it came to convincing others to be the worst version of who they are. When their friends would try to help them improve a fault, he was the one to whisper 'why should you let them define you? Be yourself, do as you please.' Individuality and self-expression taken to its worst extreme. But much to his surprise he once told a vulture that when he saw her being sad about herself, it backfired. His words built her up instead of twisting her around and she began acting kindly towards him. At first it was annoying, but she grew on him and now he's fiercely protective of her. He loves her, though he'll never admit it. (She totally knows though.)
Small, unobtrusive, little more than a six-inch long bundle of brown and white feathers and rage, Be You has the form of a Northern Pygmy Owl. His body is more white with dark brown, vertical stripes. His eyes glow amber and he keeps his yellow beak and claws razor sharp.

I Just Want Love Female Nuclear Cuddlebug Athid

For a long, long time, the truth of her rank has hung heavily over Love's spirit. Nuclear Athid were dangerous. They caused harm to those they were around for extended periods of time. Plants wilted. Animals sickened. What kind of cruelty was this for a heart - albeit mechanical - that feels it was made with so much love to give. She secreted herself away as much as she could, mostly in places of stone because at least she couldn't hurt that, right? But then Love met Ashen and she received the shock of her life: not only did she suddenly have more energy to run and move about, but her radiation didn't sicken them! In fact it was revealed that she lacked a proper nuclear core. It could only produce just enough energy to keep her going and now that she has Ashen she doesn't produce any at all! Oh the joy! Granted she's still jittery and jumpy from her previous life of always being on the lookout, avoiding those she might accidentally hurt, but at least with Ashen she's found her smile. She doesn't quite have as much obscure knowledge as some of her kind but she's still a young Athid and there's time to learn.

Love is a sleek insect with the shape of a very large ant. Stretching a foot and a half long she is very shiny chrome with round LED eyes that change display shape and color based off of her emotion and intent (pink hearts, blue tears, yellow exclamation points, and a variety of happy little ^ ^ eyes just to name a few).



Oh! A Duel Then! Male Foil Meowlure - Alois

Some see Duel coming and look around, wondering who it will be today. He takes his rank's tendency to love challenging anyone and everyone with a flippant kind of seriousness. Whenever he goes out for a jaunty stroll, ensuring he's as fashionable as he can be, should he find any reason to call someone out he will. It doesn't matter whether they've insulted him (or he believes they have) or they look like a fun challenge to test his skill against, or they're the initiator and taking all comers, he's drawing blade and calling 'en garde!' Unless there's no other way he never fights to the death; simply to first blood or the surrender of one combatant or the other will do especially if it's a bout with a friend. This happens to be how he met his beloved Sharpblade; he overheard someone saying how fearsome Sharpblades were and he wanted to find out for himself. She just happened to be the first Sharpblade he encountered. It must've been Aeon's will (or a kind twist of the IF) that he stumbled upon a Sharpblade that not only appreciated the fun of a fight but knew how to pull her punches at the end. He's a merry heart who rarely takes things seriously aside from his continual training with his foil, instructing others in the fine art of fencing, or ensuring that when doing either he looks amazing.

Duel has short, velvety blue-gray fur much like a Russian Blue with sparkling blue-green eyes. He's quite proud of his long, smooth tail and triangular, upright ears with their dusty pink insides. One can always tell when he's about to challenge someone when his darker blue-gray nose twitches and his whiskers quiver with excitement. His boots are highly decorated and kept well-polished; both the black leather, the silver buckles across the top of the foot, and the buckles that hold a leather strap around his calf are always shiny and he will never let a single stitch on the multiple folds of the cuff to be frayed. His chosen foil at first glance looks by comparison shockingly plain with a straight, well-polished and maintained blade lining up with the pommel and grip, all formed of one piece of metal. But that is a high misconception; the cupped guard that protects his hand is carefully engraved with delicate, and beautiful, scrollwork that he brags was custom made for him.



Ready for a Rumble Female Fan Sharpblade

Rumble's love language is clearly physical contact. She… just puts a very Sharpblade twist on it. Though she's quite content with cuddling (especially with her cherished Meowlure mate) she much prefers to get somewhere with lots of room and fight. Yes, fight. Not like lethal blood combat where someone gets hurt. More like wrestling, battering with her tail, fencing with her leg talons, head butting and shoving. Every contact is her saying 'I love you, I cherish you, you make my life amazing.' Granted, there are few who really understood that for a long time and she came off as just another aggressive Sharpblade. Then a plucky little Meowlure with a pair of fancy boots of all things challenged her to a sparring match, just to see how strong Sharpblades were. He was agile and quick and their contest ended in a close victory for Rumble simply due to her tail. He claimed a rematch on another day which she happily accepted, glad to have met someone who simply wasn't afraid of her claws and teeth. One rematch turned into two, then five, then a weekly session that blossomed into affection and love. Now that she has Ashen as well she's quite content (and she only lightly taps him with her tail; he's more delicate, she feels).

Rumble is a bit on the small side for her species, only five and a half feet tall. She's a deep emerald green with flecks of bright blue over her back and across her face like freckles beneath her orange eye mask and violet eyes.

Being a Nuclear Athid can be difficult, always having to worry about who is around and what damage your own presence can do. This is even harder when your primary love language is antenna-down physical contact! Click was in just that predicament. She absolutely LOVES physical touch, both to give and to receive. But from the first moment of her creation as she emerged from the pile of parent materials she was told her fate was to be alone. 'You're a Nuclear Athid. You're a danger to everyone. Always be aware! Always watch out!' Needless to say she was a sad little Athid for much of her life. The thought of hurting someone else was abhorrent to her so she developed a jumpy personality to match her jumpy physical form, often quickly fleeing the instant she spied anyone getting too close. But then came one day when she found out that she wasn't a 'normal' Athid - she was a Mutant Athid. Specifically a CUDDLEBUG Athid, whose primary fuel source was the very thing that she most cherished and most desired in the entire world! So to say she takes being clingy a bit to the extreme might be an understatement. Click gets separation anxiety if she's not attached or beside someone at all times. When she's startled (which happens often) she tends to 'CLICK!' and leap into the air. She also tends to stammer and inquire whether or not she's a burden or a bother at various moments. Click just so wants to love and be loved.

Click takes her physical form from the Eastern Eyed Click Beetle, complete with sound effects! Her body is formed of a hyper-shiny palladium frame filled with thin sheets of carbyne, a hyper-light material so that despite her foot long size she scarcely weighs half a pound. Two black discs of fused quartz glass make the dots on her thorax and the white flecks on her abdomen are tiny bits of silver. Like her mundane counterparts Click has the ability to 'click.' Using a series of mechanisms in her thorax and abdomen she can fling herself skyward several yards, an action accompanied by a loud click noise. She can even use this to flip herself over should she end up on her back; this is the only way she can right herself as her body profile is otherwise rather flat.

Steams are known to be a bit scattered at times. When you combine an abundance of energy with eccentric natures things can get a little chaotic. You Know is just as sweetly hyper as her rank can be. She's in love with life and that makes her easily excitable. She truly lives in the moment! Thankfully she's an adorable kind of hyper, giggling often and understanding that her hyperness can be overwhelming to others at times. This energetic nature extends to her Mindspeech as well as she often talks in run-on sentences and repeats words (especially adjectives). When she catches herself doing this she just laughs and says 'oh, you know what I mean!'

You Know has the form of a fairly large dragonfly, two feet from end to end with a two-foot wingspan at the furthest point. She's predominantly copper in color, though the metal is much harder than that obviously, with four wings of copper wire and thin bits of multi-colored crystal. Some of these crystal panels have holes of varying sizes cut into them and lined with copper; when she flies instead of a loud humming or buzzling sound a melody is made, though if it's anything in particular or not seems to be random. This never seems to impede her flight which is just as swift and agile as a mundane, fleshy dragonfly's can be. Where each wing joins the body is a silver gear that has nothing to do with the mechanics for flight; it's purely decorative. Likewise the rounded stud at the base of her head is just for show. Instead of being solid her abdomen is a tapering, polished copper tube with wire wrapping around it in a loose coil. Her eyes are iridescent, faceted crystal with a faint blue-green tint.

The Tumbling Acrobat Female Spirit Familiar

There are those who find great joy in tumbling; the art of flipping, performing somersaults, walking on their hands, and other feats of agility and balance. From the moment of her birth this Spirit Familiar has felt this calling and uses it to bring joy to others, to entertain and delight. Even before she took her final form Tumbling Acrobat was always taking the form of graceful creatures like monkeys, hummingbirds, dolphins (for water acrobatics), even fantastical beasts like Nadur and (ironically) firelizards. It was actually in the form of a Firelizard that she first met the one who would be her mate, Seeker, as he was lamenting his fate. He mistook her for a firelizard and after communicating his troubles and she offering her solution - to cheer the sorrowful - she revealed her true self. They found great fulfilment in this team-up and in sharing the joy they brought to others found love.

Tumbling Acrobat is quite pleased with the final for that she has taken upon meeting Wonder; that of a Congo Clawless Otter, at least in base form. She has their adorable face, little round ears, four paws made for swimming and rudder of a tail, all useful for aquatic and dry land antics. Like them her fur is waterproof while at the same time velvety soft to the touch. However instead of the soft brown she is a whimsical combination of wave-like swirls in warm and cool colors grouped together. White and black stripes give her an appearance of socks, and blue and white spots freckle beneath her vivid amethyst eyes over her cotton-candy pink nose. Her fur conceals ribbon-like frills that are for the most part concealed until she causes them to spring forth like a party favor with a contraction of muscles along her spine; shimmering metallic colors, these emerge from her shoulders like a cloak.

The Seeker of Sorrow Male Blue Pureblood Firelizard

Blue Firelizards, especially Purebloods, have a reputation of being able to find things. It's the blue dragons who seek out Candidates for Impression, after all, and there is an uncontested link between the two species. Seeker is as adept at finding things as any of his rank…with one small caveat. His forte is finding people, specifically those who are as 'blue' as his scales. Perhaps it's a strange quirk of his empathic communication but he is just drawn to those who are sorrowful, or stressed, or depressed. The people who need a hug and a snack with more calories than is probably wise. It honestly bothered him for a long time. What use was being able to find among other things people who were sad, always sad? It made him downright depressed himself! But then he ran into another firelizard (or at least he thought so) who suddenly appeared before one of the people he'd found, flipping and spinning mid-air so joyfully that both their spirits were lifted. Seeker sent imagery and empathy to ask what the female was doing there and much to his surprise she turned into a merry golden dog - a Familiar! (really, the purple eyes that didn't whirl should've been a giveaway) After some conversation he revealed the source of his heavy heart and she offered a solution: a cooperation between them where he found those who were sad and she would cheer them up! From that moment their fates and lives were intertwined. Now Seeker doesn't view his calling as a burden. With his mate Acrobat by his side he's helping make things better, one person at a time.

Seeker, being a Pureblood Firelizard, lacks any scales or horns along his smooth hide. He is subtly shaded in two shades of blue, darker on his undersides and wing membranes and lighter everywhere else. He stretches just shy of the two feet mark.
