Ancientknight, or Knight as Aurora sometimes calls him, is a knight in every sense of the word. From the moment they met it was clear there was something special about him. He was gentle and kind with her especially as she was learning to ride, almost predicting her needs even before she tugged the reins. It wasn't long before they moved as one. He closes his eyes when she feeds him in trust and happiness, watches her with gentle expression when she picks his hooves and brushes his coat, and presses against her hands when she pets him. He is courageous, charging bravely into danger and terrifying situations that would make most mundane equines shy in terror and bolt. His loyalty to Aurora is unwavering. All of this was simply amazing to the young woman until she found our her destiny as a Wild Whisperer, and his as a rare, and magic-touched, Starbreed. They were meant to be together through thick and thin and all his life he'd been just waiting for her.

Similar in build to those horses known as 'Warmbloods,' Ancientknight stands about fifteen hands (or roughly 5 feet) tall at the shoulders. His pelt is a very deep bay with lighter highlights at his mouth, chest, along his neck, and the joints of his legs; this is why Aurora named him as she did as his color reminded her of an old suit of armor. His eyes are a warm caramel color and his mane and tail are black. His wings match his coat… when they are visible. In a quirk the IF has decreed that he is gifted not only with Mindspeech but a unique power. As he once told Aurora when they were in grave danger "Together we can fly!" Most of the time he looks like a mundane horse, and many might mistake him for a Sumine at best. But when Aurora is mounted on his back and the need (or desire) is there wings sprout painlessly from his shoulders, able to carry them both aloft for the lengths of time that Gusts are reknown to do. The only thing about his appearance that is new to his Wild Whisperer is that he sports a fine white appaloosa blanket across his withers.
