I am so grateful for the opinions of my friends in this tricky decision. The results of the first series of polls were decisive and in many ways surprising. But they have rolled to a close and so here's the final poll with the winners competing for the final win!

A young man, neglected by his family, finds an egg that hatches into a Hippogryph. This causes him to be chased out by his village who believe the creature is evil. He meets new friends who reveal the truth, however - that the Hippogryph means he is a destined hero, along with them. They must travel, finding artifact weaponry and armor, learning to work together as a team, and ensure that the forces of the demon do not take specific sacred sites until the time when they can battle the demon for the fate of the world.

Back in history, the Ser'kai (the name of the race) were a tribal people living a semi-nomadic lifestyle. It is a cyclic, mostly peaceful life. But when foreign invaders with more advanced weaponry and magic strike, taking slaves and destroying entire tribes, one Ser'kai must rise to leadership, binding many different tribes' members together to ensure the survival of his people.
