Sairiel had been out gathering supplies for a spell and she'd run across a small box that had four clues in it as to the nature of the creatures hidden around. They were in small places hidden away that seemed to be hinted at in clues, that meant she had to get others involved. She had this feeling it was necessary she glanced at Sairiesk and had her relay it to the dragon Vorgath would relayed it on to the rest of the dragon network.
She'd met Vorgath on a walk and it had driven her crazy how aggressive the red had been, she didn't want to meet more if they were like him. So now she stood off to one side waiting for someone to arrive so she could explain what she'd found and what was going to happen here. Sairiesk has let the weyr know through a dragon, so your character can easily have heard from their dragon or perhaps a rider told them. But so far Sairiel doesn't know anything of what was hidden only that they're out there.
Jirin had no connection to the weyr aside from an almost instinctual sense of loyalty to the Village that bore its name. He had not Impressed a dragon or even a Firelizard.
But he was a wanderer. There were few environments he wasn't at least apt in traversing if not comfortable in. And so even though he didn't hear it from the dragon network he, and Enora the Meowlure who'd accompanied the silent warrior to be his voice, came upon Salriel in - ironically - one of their own supply-gathering-and-trading journeys.
As per his usual, Jirin made his steps a bit louder when he saw the elf spellcaster as he was used to moving silently, and Enora stepped a bit forward.
Greetings! the calico rapier-wielder Mindspoke when they had come into Salriel's view, translating for Jirin's signing. Not to pry but is there something happening that you're standing here as if waiting for someone?
Melonwei allowed herself to share in Tualarth's jubilation just a little bit. Her rounded belly had gotten her cut loose from her duties in the infirmary, and she had taken the time to focus more on her dragon, whom she felt she neglected all too often. Tualarth's incongruous joy at a simple flight seemed to be proof of that.
I see people, M'lonwei!
Unbidden, Tualarth dipped down and spiraled to the ground, landing her pure Pernese green self daintily beside the unknown elves. Melonwei indulged her dragon's curiosity and let her, not correcting her when she stuck her face close to first one elf, and then the other, eyes whirling a curious but happy blue.
Hello! My name is Tualarth. This is my M'lonwei. Whatcha doin'?
Melonwei unstrapped herself from Tualarth's back with some difficulty and slid down her dragon's side with less grace than she was accustomed to, pregnancy interfering with her natural dexterity. Her Veiled Sister robes didn't fit anymore, so she was wearing Healer Hall green, which matched her eyes. Calaeron had told her it was a lovely offset to her dark skin, too, but her weyrmate was biased.
"I apologize for the intrusion. My dragon had questions."
"Hello all sorry for the uh unusual finding here, I saw this box and there are four clues to finding some hidden figurines? I'm not sure entirely." But now she wanted to do her best to get these things figured out, however as she spoke another person walked up to her.
"I'll take over from here, I was making sumine and then they were stolen by some pegasi who thought it'd be fun. I managed to get some hints out of one and now they've hidden four sumine and there are four pegasi out there from what I've figured out." The figure was shrouded in a cloak and did not speak with any identifiable gender but they were clearly more in the know than Sairiel.
