Game Time is as playful as can be. She loves to play games that involve others, like hide and seek, tag, races, and the like. It can seem like she has inexhaustible energy which sometimes will tire others out or wear on them. She also is a bit clingy as a result of her love for games; left alone for long she gets anxious and in an attempt to self-sooth sometimes breaks things in frantic running. Thankfully she has a devoted mate in Comedic Timing. Her anxiety has plummeted since they met and he both keeps her company and keeps her laughing with his much more tame antics.

With a body structure like a deep green monitor-like lizard, Game Time's front half continues with the green color though it is more brighter than the rest of her. Comedic Timing loves the sound of laughter. So he has turned the skill of comedic timing into a fine art. If he spies someone about to drop something, cue the cartoon 'falling whistle.' He does his own version of a whistle-squawk rimshot. His repertoire of words to echo is quite extensive to the same effect, and should you need a sidekick for a joke he's the best whether the straight man or the comic role. And as long as someone else is laughing you can be sure he's laughing right along with them, one of his favorite sounds to mimic. His mate, Game Time, is one of his biggest fans and when she's bored he loves to put on a show for one.

Comedic Timing's sprawling lizard body is a moderate gray, while the frill of feathers down his spine and the tailfeathers on the tip of his tail are white. His wings are white with some gray mottling. The long feathers on his head that form a raisable crest are white; he tends to lift it for an additional humorous effect to his acts. His darker gray beak is set in a yellow blush across his face and between orange cheeks, making his sparkling blue eyes stand out.

Steady, dedicated, logical, intelligent. These are just a few of the words that can be used to describe Devoted Apprentice. She view Nessa as her master but not in the term of master and servant or - Aeon forbid! - master and slave. No, Nessa is her master, and she seeks to learn anything and everything her Bonded is willing to teach to her. It doesn't really matter whether the lesson is combat, lightning magic, or any of the skills that Nessa has cultivated during her life; Devoted Apprentice is eager and ready to learn. In exchange she only see it as fair that she helps with Nessa's day-to-day life by cleaning, helping to cook, running errands, and other services just as an apprentice wizard for their teacher. Her Cuddlebug mutation is just a bonus in her eyes as it lets her re-energize at the same time as learning.

While some might not call Devoted Apprentice's form a 'true bug' she points out quite calmly that a larva is still an insect, just in a less-mature form and don't dare say she isn't mature either! Perhaps it's a destined nod to Nessa's lightning magic affinity that she has the form of a firefly - or lightning bug - larva. True to the coloration of a mundane firefly larva Devoted Apprentice is made of brass in varying shades of brown due to some of it being polished, some being aged, some being hammered, and so forth. She is two feet long and somewhat flat in body with plates over the upper half of her body. Her head is actually beneath one of these plates at the end which protects her black crystal eyes and polished brass mandibles. Each of her legs is also made of shiny brass. The other end of her body has a segment that glows violet with the brightness of a candle, a display of her arcane nature.
