Rock in the Sea is as steady an individual as you might imagine. Little alarms her, little irritates her. She sets her mind to something and does it. She makes decisions and sticks to them until they're proven to be wrong. If obstacles get in her way she finds a way around them or through them. It's admirable, really. And it's a quality that helped Rock in the Sea out quite a bit when she met Strong Enough. At first she just saw someone who was sad, lonely, and wanted to help. Then she came to cherish his company, and love him. It wasn't a pitying love or one drawn from physical attraction (she's fairly certain they can't even have pups/cubs at all), nor from a desire to 'fix' his personality or whatever you might call it. That was a part of him, and she was determined to stick by him until either she was able to tell him her feelings or until she could determine how he felt about her. Thankfully for both of them he reached the breaking point first and that settled that! A little quiet determination, like a rock withstanding the waves of the sea, paid off in spades.

Weighing in at around two hundred pounds Rock in the Sea is a bit of a daintier Noon Majebe. Physically her profile is much more leopard than jaguar, and in her case she takes the pelt from a snow leopard. Her fur is pale blush, just as pale as can be with appropriately rose-petal pink rosettes and the smoke at her ankles and tailtips are bright red, though just like snow leopards are known to do one tailtip or another can be often found in her mouth when she's at rest. Her glacier blue eyes might seem cold at first glance but they are quite the opposite: always warm with love and friendship until her oft-dormant anger is roused when they darken dangerously.

The King Stands Strong Male Hope Giver Guardian Familiar, Alikhan

A true leader commands from the front, unafraid to face down even great enemies to protect those who rely on them, those they cherish and love. The King does his Guardian rank proud as he certainly personifies that concept. With a mighty roar and claws reaching for his enemies he charges forth to ensure the danger never comes to Echo or those Echo loves, including his twin Reprise. In battle they will be the ultimate partners as The King naturally will be able to sense where Echo will be moving and how and thus can adjust his own tactics in response. Granted, he can be a little reckless in terms of his own safety and will happily take injuries meant for others. It's not uncommon to find him laying on the field of battle, victorious but bloody. But all he'll say is that he is proud and honored to lead the charge so enemies can never advance.

The King in his final, chosen form looks like the legendary, lost Barbary Lion with their powerful, muscular bodies, thick black manes, and the fringe that runs under their bellies to their flanks. The pelt over his nearly nine-foot long body is crimson with golden ripples all over like sunlight glimmering off of water. His paw pads are as black as his mane. The orange-red of his eyes gleam like orange opals; if you are his enemy they scorch the soul but if you are one that he considers under his care the love there will warm you through and through. Proudly displayed upon his brow like the prime jewel of a crown or helm is a vivid pink ribbon twisted into a single loop, the mark of his Hope Giver Mutation.

Look Beyond Female Angel Familiar, Aurora

Most everyone says that appearances aren't everything. But it's also much harder to put that into practice; the most altruistic of individual will still be impacted by first impressions, which are made with the eyes long before a word is spoken. Look Beyond sadly knows this all too well. Her appearance, resembling a vulture, often frightens or disturbs others when she's around. She's really a sweetheart, loving and affectionate and always ready for a cuddle. Sadly for a long time no one would take a chance. That is until of all species and ranks a Fiend familiar crossed her path. He asked her why she was so glum and, when she told him, he replied, 'So what? They don't matter. Be yourself.' Never before had anyone ever told her that and from that moment her heart was given. Now she's a familiar of two hearts; half to Echo and half to Be You and spends her days happily encouraging others to look past the surface and find out who or what lay at the heart.

Look Beyond is a vulture in form, specifically a Eurasian griffon vulture, with a fluffy white, downy head ringed with a 'necklace' of long, slender feathers, brown body about three feet long, and seven foot wide wings with mixed dark and light brown feathers. Her beak is mostly white-cream with a lipstick-like lining of light gray and her brown eyes are warm and gentle, inviting physical contact and affection.

Be Who You Are Male Fiend Familiar, Kelvor

Fiend familiars aren't known for their softer emotions. For most of his life, Be You was much the stereotypical Fiend. He was a cunning creature. He was always good at his words, especially when it came to convincing others to be the worst version of who they are. When their friends would try to help them improve a fault, he was the one to whisper, 'why should you let them define you? Be yourself, do as you please.' He was individuality and self-expression taken to its worst extreme. But much to his surprise, when he once told a vulture that when he saw her being sad about herself, it backfired. His words built her up instead of twisting her around and she began acting kindly towards him. At first it was annoying, but she grew on him and now he's fiercely protective of her. He loves her, though he'll never admit it. (She totally knows, though.)

Small, unobtrusive, little more than a six-inch long bundle of brown and white feathers and rage, Be You has the form of a Northern Pygmy Owl. His body is more white with dark brown, vertical stripes. His eyes glow amber and he keeps his yellow beak and claws razor sharp.

Eternal Laughter of the Playful Heart Male Spirit Familiar, Finnegeth

Laughter, laughter everywhere, and a Spirit Familiar without a care! Serious? Not in his vocabulary. He's always up for a game, ever ready for an adventure, and with a ready laugh that is infectious both in Mindspeech and in a more verbal sense. Just laying eyes upon his friends can cause a case of the giggles, set to the time of his ever-happy tail that flickers back and forth with a mind of its own. Good luck being sad with this Familiar around!

Though he took many, many forms in his search for a Bonded Eternal Laughter eventually settled down on appropriately a red fox. He's a big, fluffy specimen with russet red fur, white paws, a white underbelly, and white tip to his tail. Granted, that is the end of the resemblance to a mundane fox. What would a Spirit Familiar be without their noteworthy whimsy? First off, he has two extra tails, one sapphire blue and the other mint green though in all other ways matching his other tail. This occasionally gets him mistaken for a Kitsune until their color is noticed. Long, silky, purple fur grows from his ankles like a horse's fetlocks. Finally, the thick fur on the back of his neck is a matching purple, as are his eyes.

The Wildfire Brother Male Chinook Pegasus

Name: Kevor

Wildfire is a joyful, personable Chinook. A regular party Pegasus he loves nothing more than getting together with friends and making new friends. He's a bit of a trickster though, never anything harmful unless he considers someone an enemy in which case watch out! Though technically not a warrior like a Gust he'll happily dive into conflict when it comes, bringing every trick in his arsenal to bear. His favorite is to either leap from the ground or drop from the sky directly onto a target with all his considerable weight behind the attack. About the only thing he becomes serious about is Echo and his twin, Sun, and his loyalty to them. Challenge that loyalty at your own risk.

Mostly brown with a few irregularly-shaped white patches and the rank-trademark white or 'bald' face, Wildfire is a bit of a standout as his eyes are both ringed by brown, and are also brown rather than blue. His mane and tail are black and each leg sports a white sock. His wings are brown but have black primary and secondary feathers.

Like A Bolt From The Sun Male Gust Pegasus

Given that most quickly come to know Sun as a serious Gust it might come as a shock to find that at his core he is an artist. He sees beauty everywhere and is quite talented at putting what he sees, and feels honestly, onto paper with paint, his preferred method as he holds the paintbrush in his mouth. He has all the passions of an artist as well, meaning in other words that he has a temper that ignites in the flick of a wing especially when his loyalty to his twin brother, Wildfire, or his bonded, Echo, is brought into question. This temper is what he brings into his warrior side - he's truly fearsome on the battlefield in a way that boarders on ruthlessness. No one is truly safe from his fury; even Echo can expect the occasional (albeit controlled) display of stamping and unquestionable body language when he's truly vexed, and as Wildfire often targets him with his pranks they frequently will brawl with one another even to the point of minor injury. Wildfire seems to think this is fun and really it's good stress relief for Sun, perhaps why his brother does it in the first place.

Sun is just about half and half brown and white with the white being the back half, naturally given his appaloosa blanket marking. In his case the white across his flanks, back, and sides is splotched with brown patches almost as if he had paint dripped on him appropriately enough. An irregularly-shaped white patch on his left shoulder and white marks on his legs while not true socks hint at his kinship to Wildfire. A tiny crescent of white hairs on his forehead give him a barely-there star.
