Lucky for Nec, the snowstorm hit when he was in the bakery and in no rush to be anywhere. Do what's one to do then? When slowly getting snowed in in a bakery that smells of any kind of sweet and savory snack you can think of? And coffee.
Well
Nec, for one, thought that finding a corner table was the perfect idea, as well as ordering (not quite) one of everything in the display!
Nec may have been lucky to be in the bakery when the blizzard hit, but Jasper wasn't. By the time she made into the warmth of the breads and sweets, she was coated in snow. Brushing off the snow as she stood in the doorway, she looked around the room, seeing if there was a free space. It would seem she was out of luck though as all of the tables were full. Taking one more look, she realized who had claimed a table in the back.
Brushing off the last of the snow, she made a beeline for the corner table that had Nec. Sliding in opposite of him, she waved at him. "Hello! Hope I'm not taking someone's seat. If I am, Just let me know and I can move into your lap." Jasper couldn't resist the tease, but if Nec was really meeting someone, Jasper wasn't going to third wheel it.
But she couldn't think of a better way to spend a blizzard than in someone else's company.
"Jasper!" Nec smiled wide at her approach and shook his head. "No you're not, but I'm not gonna deny you if you want a slightly softer seat regardless" he teased back, only blushing a tiny bit. "What are you doing out in this storm anyway? Want anything to eat? Drink?" He didn't really expect her to say no to the food option, remembering her appetite from that other world, but he still wasn't sure what she might like in the bakery.
