After some time, Fait had found herself wandering back here once again. This time she was accompanied by her ever-loyal second in command, the one that she begrudgingly admitted she had found herself trusting more and more to take control when she wasn't around. Xyl had been an invaluable asset since the moment he had bonded to her and even now, clad in something more befitting his status as her lieutenant, he stood resolutely at her side. Rahn too, was shaping up to be an excellent soldier, and was currently overseeing the training of the others. Despite his lack of knowledge regarding proper language, grammar, and syntax, he didn't necessarily need it to be an excellent leader in his own right. Had he not made it clear that he too was completely loyal to her and her cause, she might have been worried about him attempting to usurp her position.
But be that as it may, their numbers were still limited. They would need more, and so that was why Fait had come here. "I know you are in here somewhere," she muttered, more to herself than to her current companions as she scanned the darkness.
----------------------------------------------- OOC: Claiming a Red Magatama Nekomata, a Scythe Sharpblade, and a Katana Sharpblade for 35 BP. Would prefer Kay to make these~
The darkness wouldn't last long, and what would be revealed would be quite a few good hopeful additions to her troops: a Katana Sharpblade, a Scythe Sharpblade, and a Red Magatama Nekomata.
Without warning, the Katana lunged from the other side of the pool to strike at Fait with the talons on his kind feet, forcing a quick dodge. But he wouldn't press the attack; rather he would simply turn to her and lower his head in allegiance. Clearly she'd passed his test and he was pleased.
Bond! One Strike, Two Cuts Male Katana Sharpblade to Fait!
The second Sharpblade would be much more calm as she strode around the pool and nodded her head in her own gesture.
Bond! Life in Every Breath Female Scythe Sharpblade to Fait!
The Nekomata, his red Magatama flashing in the sunlight, strode around the pool the opposite direction and came to sit at Fait's feet.
What they mean to say is we have been waiting for you, and you have our loyalty.
Bond! Shrine Keeper Male Red Magatama Nekomata, Guiren to Fait

One Strike, Two Cuts Male Katana Sharpblade
Mindspeech: Color #fd8f5e
One Strike is a very efficient Sharpblade, even among a rank known to be an 'elite strike force.' He never expends excess energy in anything he does, be it hunting, defending his pack from a threat, traveling, or even sleeping (whereas some toss and turn he drops into the first position he lands in and falls asleep). His words are precise and to the point, never sugar coated or made to be pretty. All that extra fluff is just a pointless waste of time and he will never waste time. This at least will make him very effective for Fait's purposes, and his loyalty is assured to the one he feels is the leader of his pack.
Standing just a couple of inches under the full seven feet his kind can reach, One Strike is a vibrant jungle green with black stripes along his shoulders, forearms, thighs, and down his spine. His eyes are red, framed by his rank's deep purple mask. His razor sharp talons, especially the massively large one on his feet, are naturally tipped in black.
Life in Every Breath Female Scythe Sharpblade
Mindspeech: Color #029d66
Some might think that it is a bit odd that Life in Every Breath's personality is contained in a Scythe's body. Scythe Sharpblades are known for their tight control on their every emotion so that every action is guided by logic. Yet Life in Every Breath lives by that credo. In every moment, there is life. Glorious, beautiful life! It is not that she fails to have emotions, she might explain if Fait asks someday. It is that she has been taught from a young age to master all emotion, compartmentalize and control it with an unbreakable iron grip so that it never clouds her mind. There is right and wrong. There is black and white. There are Fait's orders and desires, and that stands as her one true north. But quietly she cherishes life, finds it beautiful. Every creature and object that exists in the natural world possesses a spirit and an energy all its own and deserves to be respected, even when she must cut it down in Fait's name and for her honor and glory. She will not shed a tear when she must, but when she does not have to she will quietly enjoy it around her, watching as a logical observer.
This scythe is among the tallest of her kind standing at a proud six feet of emerald green reptile. Her legs are flecked by light blue spots, almost like she'd walked through a field of blossoms and their petals stuck to her body. Her matching light blue eyes are framed by her white mask, and if one can look past her seemingly expressionless face they might find a powerful soul within.
Shrine Keeper Male Red Magatama Nekomata, Guiren
Mindspeech: Color #6d5fe3
A Red Magatama Nekomata's powers center around protection. That is where Guiren has his focus, naturally. Just as his magatama glistens with a ruby red inner light so too does he all but gleam with an inner courage and dedication to keeping what Fait deems as sacred safe. Her home is his Shrine, and he will protect it and everyone and everything within it to his final breath. His loyalty is only matched by his tenderness to those he cherishes for in his eyes protecting them also means protecting their well-being and mental states. Guiren will provide in whatever way he say to ensure they are healthy, happy, and safe.
Guiren is a sleek-furred felinewith a total length nose to tail tip of two feet. His fur is a uniform steel gray save for three short black stripes on the top of his head. His yellow-green eyes always seem to be checking his surroundings or gauging the status of others. Around his neck hangs the crimson red Magatama that identifies his rank.
Fait let her gaze linger for a while longer, her eyes narrowed. But when he did not move to attack again and instead bowed his head in allegiance, she relaxed just a small amount. Clearly he knew that any form of insubordination would not be tolerated and was willing to swear his fealty to her. As the bonds clicked into place one by one, she allowed a small grin onto her face. Her platoon was growing and with it so would her chances of being able to conquer this place in the name of the Irken empire. "Nem. Val. Guiren," Fait began, doing her best not to stumble over the Nekomata's name. Maybe she could shorten it to simply Gui, it would be much easier to pronounce. "I am Fait, Irken commander, and as of now, you answer to me. However, I am not about to ignore any good ideas you might have for any improvements. If I am not available, you may bring your concerns to Xyl, my second in command. Is that understood?" It is, Guiren confirmed. "Excellent. Now let's get back to base, there are a few introductions to be done."
