The darkness that seemed to always greet the pair would have a different feeling about it this time around. It would feel light, playful even.

Then would come the merry Mindspeech giggle, the sound of prancing hooves and a deep, but pleasant humming thrum. A shimmering light would pierce the darkness and torches, previously unlit, would begin to glow revealing a yearling Pegasus playing seemingly at a game of tag, or maybe it was catch-me-if-you-can, with a hummingbird-shaped Roc just a bit large than herself. Though the Pegasus could only whinny it was clear both of them were having the time of their lives.

Then first the Pegasus, then the Roc, frolicked over towards the pair and tapped Bonnet in turn before racing away with the Roc calling,

Tag! You're it!

Glittering Game is a Roc that hardly takes anything seriously. Granted, she's still a young Roc but being a Breeze it's highly unlikely that anything will ever change about that. She is incredibly sociable and friendly with an outgoing nature that lights up the room. She'll be willing to jaunt off an any adventure at the drop of a feather or try anything that sounds fun once (and probably more than once, truth be told). She definitely has her rank's trademark excitability and distracted nature; you could casually mention the weather and she'll instantly be abuzz with ideas on how to enjoy it and sometimes gets herself into various kinds of trouble for her efforts. She had a sweet, gentle heart at her core though so please don't be too hard on her. Really Glittering Games can hardly help it - she just never wants to miss a second of life!

Glittering Game might be one of the most unique-looking of all the Rocs. Certainly, when they were first described as 'aerodynamic frames,' 'sleek feathers,' and 'swiftest' no one was thinking of looking to one of the smallest of all bird-dom for a form. Yet that is exactly what she has done. Glittering Game has the body of a rainbow hummingbird in an average horse-sized form. That's with all the blurringly-fast wings and namesake hum, though in her case it's actually closer to a melodic thrumming. Thankfully it's pleasant to hear otherwise her presence might cause annoyance very quickly. And she has all the traits of her much-smaller semi-kin: hovering, flying backwards, eating sugar-water, nectar, and juice over anything else. But she also comes with a unique mutation: every single one of her feathers glitters as if she was dusted with the metallic flecks. Thankfully for Bonnet and by association Lolbit the glitter doesn't shed everywhere or it might get in their gears!

Jump, Dance, Play, Shimmer, and Shine Female Breeze Pegasus

From the moment she got her hooves beneath her Shimmer and Shine has been a bundle of energy and pure joy! The only time she's ever really still is when she's sleeping. Even at mealtimes she taps a hoof or prances in place as if hearing some inaudible tune. She just loves to play games no matter what form they take, even board games which she carefully manipulates with a wingtip, hoof, or mouth. Physically games like tag and racing are a natural pleasure. Even being a spectator to other's games is enjoyable, though she for certain will be on the sidelines cheering and bounding around to encourage, well, everyone! Regrettably this mindset does mean she can't really take anything seriously. Indeed the sight of disasters or impending tragedy are about the only thing that can stop Shimmer and Shine in her tracks, her mind hardy able to comprehend what she sees and upsetting her for days afterwards. She simply can't properly process it like others can, so a little extra gentle handling and care should be taken in regards to her mental safety.

Shimmer and Shine, physically, is a very gracefully-built equine. She has the long legs, flat face, and long ears of an Akhal Teke breed, complete with the golden champagne coat that passed to her wings, and rosy gold hooves. Her coloration makes the creamy color of her rank's trademark patches almost invisible in the sunlight, though in any dimmer light they show up well enough. Her almond-shaped eyes are a gorgeous sapphire blue. Notably, however, is the physical mutation she possesses: in her mane a tail are strands that continually shift across the entire spectrum of the rainbow like fiber optic lights. She can't control it or turn them off, though their glow is barely brighter than a candle overall so it doesn't interfere with anyone wanting to nap around her. It certainly adds to her festive, playful appearance!
