Accompanied by Soft and Sharp on their most recent trip to the shrine, Shy glanced behind them to make sure their path of pebbles was still intact. It was more instinctive than anything since they now had a trio of friends to guide their way home, but the presence of the small stones was reassuring nonetheless. Don't worry, everything will be all right. You're safe here, Soft reassured their bonded. Though they were a bit too large to clamber up onto Shy's shoulder, their presence and gentle words helped soothe the worries that may or may not have been breeding in the young vessel's mind. The temple hadn't changed from the last time they had visited it and Shy wondered if perhaps there was some sort of magic at work to preserve the objects that remained within. It wouldn't have surprised them if that was indeed the case. They felt as though they had been called here - was it for the same reason as it had been when they had first found this place? There was only one way to find out - and so the small vessel sat down to wait for whomever or whatever might reveal itself to them.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ OOC: Using the three stars I've gotten from submitting the word prompt challenges to claim a Brown Fire Lizard and Adoptive Kirava for Shy~ Also wanted to add that I was hoping for Tide to make these. ^^
Shy wouldn't have to wait terribly long before at least one of the hidden companions made themselves known. Their little red sombrero mircalously staying on as they flew about, flashing happily at Shy. Two more quickly joined them. One tried to calm down the other, but whose temper was flaring up while the last one seemed to be apologizing for their behavior while also trying to introduce themselves. The trio was one half of the reason why Shy had felt compelled to travel to the Shrine. The other half was a bit slower in revealing himself, but once the trio had settled down, he would bump his head up under Shy's hand, eyes whirring in happy colors.
Endlessly Patient, Hard as Stone Brown Male Firelizard
It isn't easy being the right hand lizard in a flight of firelizards. Or even the right hand lizard to the right hand lizard. As patient as can be, he has no temper to speak of. None at all in fact. Never gruff. Never frustrated or annoyed. If it takes a member of his flight twelve days to learn something, he will be with them every step of the way till they were confident in their skill. He loves his flight, no matter if they are all firelizards or not, and just wants to see them succeed. Thick skinned, he doesn't let much bother him or get to him. You can rant and vent to him and he won't take anything personally and if you want help, he is always willing to lend a claw.
About the middle of the scale in terms of size, he isn't the biggest nor is he the smallest. His hide is almost perfectly smooth with just a couple of scales around each of his limbs. His underbelly and wing membranes are a sandy color with the rest of him being a rich brown.
The Three Amigos Adoptive Kirava
These three are inseparable. Though thick and thin. Danger or peace. There are no better amigo than these guys. Their bond runs so strong and so deep, they are more than friends. They are family. All around the same age group, they found each other in a later stage of life, though you would never know it.
One of the best ways to tell them apart, other than with their personalities, is by their hats. The first of the group wears a little, dark blue sailor's cap. This one has a bit of temper and loses patience a lot, but they truly mean well. The next has a dark green, bowler hat with a yellow ribbon tied around it. A fairly calm demeanor, they don't let a thing get to them and is as polite as can be. The last one has a dark red sombrero. This one is loud and boisterous. Singing and dancing as they lead the way. They help lift each other and each of their strengths help fill out another's weakness. With this strong unit on your side, there is nothing you can't do!
((AN: Sorry this took so long Shy!!!! Let me know if I need to change anything))
Shy looked around in wonder as the four new beings joined them, though they did reach out to gently pet the Kirava trio in the hopes of helping the hot-tempered one settle down. After a moment or two of thought, they seemed to have finally come up with names for their new friends. The brown mottle fire lizard was to be named Pebble, for the smooth scales that reminded them of the small, smooth rocks that were shaped by the water. They took another moment to study the Kirava, before finally deciding to name the one with the little red hat Cheery, the one with the blue hat Grumpy, and the one with the green hat Gentle. With that done, they motioned for their new friends to follow them out of the shrine.
