The burden of loss was, without question, a heavy one to bear, and the observer knew that without aid this broken soul would be crushed under its weight. Perhaps it was for that reason that she chose to reveal herself sooner than she had intended, her footsteps silent as she stepped out of the brush in front of him. You have lost much, and the burden of your choices weighs heavier than any physical weight could ever hope to, she began, taking a step towards him. I myself am no stranger to such loss, but perhaps if our burdens are shared it may make them easier to bear than if we were to face them alone. With this said, she closed the distance between them and rested her head on his shoulder - as small as he was, barely any larger than herself, such an action was simple as the bond settled into place with the sigh of wind that made the leaves around them rustle. When their world was virtually falling apart around them it was Fawnfrost that held everyone together as long as she could, leading what remained of the Colony to Haven Village where they could seek places to hide. It was simply the latest in a long line of wide decisions that have always been for the betterment of her family. She's just that way: when she takes someone to heart she puts her mind to figuring out what's best for them and then goes about doing that, whether it's by delegating tasks or taking them upon herself. She's much more a mind that a fighter, but when her back's to the proverbial wall she'll throw down with kicks and bites and more tricks than you can shake a celery stalk at!

She is among the larger of the Lepicerin at close to a three and a half feet tall at the shoulder. She is two-toned with white around her neck and shoulders, on her belly and paws, as well as on her mouth and forming a triangle up her nose. Otherwise she is brown everywhere else. Her wings are white with several thin, brown bands across them, and her antlers are also brown. Like all Wolpertingers she sports a fine pair of sharp canines.

When the Exile and Fawnfrost reached the center of the maze, the two would find what seemed to be a prize for getting this far. But should either of them attempt to approach, the otherwise normal-looking box would start bouncing up and down, opening just slightly to reveal a maw full of teeth and a long tongue that it used to pull itself over to them before jumping straight into the former king's hands. And with a feeling like tumblers clicking and sliding into place, another bond was made.

Count To Ten, Now Start Again Puzzle Box Mimic

Puzzle Box Mimics are clever as far as mimics go, and this one is no exception though it does seem to possess a sort of fondness for games of hide and seek. But as this is a puzzle box, it's not enough for them to simply take an object and hide it in another room, oh no. Using its knowledge of how to manipulate its environment, it won't hesitate to turn rooms into mazes of varying types and each maze is equipped with a different solution than the last to keep Exile on his toes. Though these mazes are occasionally equipped with barriers that need to be deactivated and dead ends, they lack traps...but only when Exile is the one doing the playing. This puzzle box at least recognizes that it would be bad to bite the hand that feeds it, both metaphorically and literally. The puzzles it comes up with do at least have the benefit of keeping Exile's focus on other things when he's feeling particularly down in the dumps to the point where even his other critters can't get a rise out of him, and his mind sharp. Maybe it's not all bad that he has to constantly search for missing bits and bobs? Appearance
