I Will Not Let You Fall Silver Mottle Rissinoth
Mind speech: Bold Italic #E6E6E6
Warm and caring, Rissinoth very rarely if ever raises her voice. She doesn't see the point in yelling unless the room is very loud and even then, she will find other ways to make herself be heard above the chaos of noise. A protector and defender of those that need it, her loyalty is to her rider first and the weyr second. While not able to disobey a Gold's order, if Gertude is in danger you can expect her to get very creative in 'obeying' said order till her rider is safe. And always in the most polite way possible too! Never an outright disobeying, but a very skillful obeying that accomplishes both the tasks of keeping her rider safe and heeding the Queen's command. Compassionate, she firmly believes that violence is not the means to an end and hardly ever uses such a thing herself. She isn't foolish enough to believe that all problems can be solved without violence, but she is wise enough to know just when and how much violence is needed for a situation at hand. Her graceful movements often remind one of a feline and much like a feline, she rarely misses anything.
Much like a mother, she rarely lets Gertude get away with anything that could possibly be harmful. She is still a junior queen rank and Gertude is still high up in the ranking order of the weyr so therefore Gertude is still needed in certain aspects and day to day running of the weyr (in her opinion). That isn't to say she is a harsh taskmaster. She would never ask Gertude to do anything that she wouldn't do herself and can often be found right alongside her rider in various tasks when able too. She likes to lead by example and is always willing to do what needs to be done for the safety of her rider and the weyr.
Rissinoth was never a particularly large lady before, and her transformation upon arrival to Teragaia hasnt changed her dainty proportions. She reaches maybe thirty eight feet from her nose to the cleft tips of her tail, which is quite long for how compact and almost delicate the rest of her appears to be. She isnt lacking for strength, Rissinoth, but you cant tell that by looking at her at a glance. Her burnished, metallic hide shines over most of her body as silver as the wild ancestors that must have spawned her, though her velvet-smooth hide is almost perfectly Pernese in texture, only a shield crest atop her head breaking the profile of her pedigree ancestors. More fascinatingly, Rissinoth is not totally solid silver, but seems to have an aurora dancing across her hide. Reds and greens slide along the silver of her left side, though right and rear edges to the darker shades of blue, an optical illusion of her coloration putting the colors in constant motion. Her wings, also, betray her Mottle heritage, as she has the manta-winged near kite shape of a wild copper dragon, the shape of her wings familiar until the pinions become frill extending all the way down beyond her hips, though the last foot and a half of her tail is uninterrupted Pernese. Most surprisingly about her, however, is perhaps her breath. Rissinoth, contrary to her obvious silver and copper roots, breathes fire in a broad and deadly cone.
Champion and Deliverer Female Silver Mottle Dragon
Speech: Bold Italics #9bc6e3 Jaydaarath
When a Wild Dragon sought to take over an entire region, plunging it into chaos, ruin, and despair under his scaled thumb, the people and the creature of that region fought back, battling for their freedom and their very lives.
And this is the dragon, the Champion, who led them.
A skilled tactician, a valiant warrior as if from the sagas of old, she is a dragon that both commands attention and respect and proves she's worthy of both. Fearless of the danger to herself, she clashed with the enemy forces whenever she crossed their paths, leading a veritable army of allied creatures of her own. For a long time these two forces waged their war, each one gaining and losing ground, until finally a decisive blow was struck by the silver mottle herself against her Wild counterpart, and his warriors shattered, scattering in retreat like dandelion seeds in the wind. And though she stood triumphant, she knew in her heart that as long as Champions were called, and there was breath in her body, her role in this world would continue on.
Though she can come across as militant, she has a much more peaceable side. One might say she cherishes peace even more for the time of conflict she endured. To try and preserve peace for others, she diffuses conflicts whenever she can, will make the hard decisions and shoulder the responsibility that comes from them, and take on others burdens if she is able to to give them peace. She is a bit of a martyr, but if you were ever to coax her ideal dream day out of her it would probably be time spent with her loved ones, simply enjoying their company.
Just shy of the full length of a silver at thirty-nine feet long, she nevertheless more than makes up for it in sheer presence. Her hide is flawless silver, almost as if she were a metal statute given life. Heavy scales encase her chest, shoulders, and along the top of her head - melding with the dual, straight horns and shield-like crest - slightly down her neck. It's been mistaken before that she actually had a suit of armor commissioned for here, and they gleam with a icy blue, almost spectral tinge to their argent shade. Over her heart lies the Mark of the Ruins that identified a Champion, glowing white with purity. Her breath weapon at first unleashing may look like fire, dancing and flickering in a like manner, but those who have witnessed its fury unfolding can tell of its frigid, icy nature; victims and inanimate objects hit head on are often frozen solid!
