Here Be Dragons
Companion to the Servant of Death Brown Mottle Female, Dorth
Speech: Italics #a27a5c
When Cain first met Dorth, she was a mostly logical dragon who enjoyed putting her skeletal Rider through hell because she knew she could take advantage of his semi-indestructable state. Why worry about dropping your Rider by doing a risky yet thrilling barrel roll at several thousand feet up when the worst you'll have to do later is pick up the bones and put them back together again? She spoke bluntly and didn't beat around the bush with things, and though others quite frequently caught her by surprise by what they did in any given situation, she was always a staunch ally for the servant of Death.
Transitioning to Teragaia has changed very little about Dorth. She's still logical, and more often than not blunt, and as ever loyal and devoted to Cain. For a time he gave her the slip (yes, she is well aware that it's not of his own volition, and that Death himself as well as the IF likely had a hand in it) but now that she's caught up she's not going to get him get away from her again. After all, if not her who will see to it that Cain gets regular baths?
Dorth from nose to tail stretches a bit larger than other browns at thirty-five and a half feet. The bulk of her hide is a rich milk chocolate color, with her underside fading to a lighter cocoa powder shade. Draping her back and shoulders like a mantle lay thick scales so dark brown they almost appear black in most lighting. She lacks any horns, though a frilled crest rises from her head.
Never Leave Myself Vulnerable Brown Mottle Female, Nynjbeth
Speech: Bold #2f9c5d
Some dragons have to learn that the world isnt such a nice place, that events can go pear-shaped in an instant, that friends cn betray you, that yes for all your careful planning and contengencies and hard work when alls said and done you still lose. Nynibeth was hatched it seems with this knowledge. Something of a cynical dragon, she almost always has a sarcastic comment ready to let fly, is quite skilled at pointing out the flaws in others plans, and if she ever says or does something nice you can rest assured its done with something more than tongue-in-cheek intended. Hope is foolish, friendships a farce. They and all things like them are merely personal set-ups for putting oneself in a whole world of hurt later. She keeps everyone at a distance, for her own sense of well-being, her guard around her heart and mind harder than the thickest of her mother, Kivalths, crimson scales. Only Cain seems able to worm through the crack in his otherwise impenetrable shell. Many times she will shoke him away hardest of all - technically an impossibility since he is her Rider and thus soul-bound to her - but at the slightest physical threat to him Nynibeth will fly with a furious rage to destroy said threat. Shes not likely to fuss over him afterwards, or admit it was done out of anything other than self-preservation, but in truth Cain is her greatest weakness. Shell do quite a lot to keep that particular secret held as close to scaled chest as she can. Nynibeths Bond seems to have influenced her appearance as much as her Egg (thank you IF!) Her hide is a brown variant of her shells tie-dye appearance, with a line of solid dark brown scales running from chin down her throat, over her chest and belly all the way to the tip of her tail. Over all that are distinct white lines that run down her spine, a few that curve over her ribs, and one down each leg, giving her a faint skeletal note to her. That some might call it a sign of her suitability to Cain she refuses to acknowledge. Perhaps somewhere there is a little white in her, for her breath weapon is an icy cone of frost.

Sweet as Syrup and Sticking Just as Much to You Brown Mottle Female, Kialinth
Mindspeech: Italics #0fabcd
To most people, Cain Skellington, Servant of Death, could be described in many ways. Brave. Smart. Stupid. Loyal. Short-tempered. Patient. Comical. A touch arrogant. A smart-mouth. 'Cuddly' might not quite come to mind immediately, but clearly that facet of the skeleton exists for that is the facet that encompasses Kialinth.
In short, she is first and foremost a snuggler. She thrives on the presence of others around her and physical affection, be it Cain (and Cain most of all) or one of the other Bondeds she shares him with. She'll tuck under Dorth's wings and curl up with the older brown, or let Brains crawl all over her, or Souna perch on her nose to rest. She shows her affection for them by giving back to them as well, such as by learning new jokes for Ribs to make him laugh. And if any of them need to simply be close and do little more than be, that is more than fine with her. Lean back against her, drape across her back, stretch out on her forelegs, and simply love her and let her love you back. Even simply having someone else in her weyr with her makes her happy, regardless of interaction. Just be there for her, and she'll be there for you.
As a result of her nature Kialinth will never quite be a stellar combatant. She can use her size and strength, her claws and bite and breath to her advantage when absolutely required but conflict unsettles her greatly to the point that she whines and tries to huddle as close to Cain as possible afterwards, shaking and needing hours of comfort and hugs to recover. And to the returning warriors when the battles over if she remains safely behind, there will be a warm welcome awaiting and an embrace in dragon wings.
Kialinth is a bit smaller than other Brown Mottles, closer to thirty-two feet nose to tail (probably a nod to a different line of her mixed heritage). Her hide is the same color as maple syrup, fitting given how sweet she is, with dark chocolate along her underside and coloring her feet like she wears socks everywhere. Her only scales spread between her wings and slightly up the bones of them and borrow the chocolate hue.
