Tangle smiled and gave a nod in response to Keldos. His words where familiar, something she'd heard echoed by another long ago, in fact she side-eyed him again curiously, was it by chance he said that? or perhaps something more.
Honestly Tangle wouldn't have much of a chance to respond right away, as the sudden blizzard that slammed into her being sent shivers up and down her spine. She flinched hard at the oncoming skeleton, her arms raising to brace for impact while her mind reeled from all the sudden changes. Something had bonded her immediately, she had this happen on occasion before but not like this.
Layla the closer of the two towards the reanimation area was soon squaking in alarm and diving to get out of the dragons way. Stones and rubble raised from her leaping scattering about and almost giving Layla a glancing blow in passing. She dived behind the other humanoids figuring they made better cover than flimsy looking stone cuts standing in the open at barely leg height for her. She hissed deeply in her throat her crouched pose one for predatory pouncing. Alarm waved off her in cascades and it wasn't that hard to figure she was worried about her bonded crouching there in the dirt.
Gasping at cold shock and the burning glory that was Taiyoth Tangle hesitated to rise from her crouched position, she was firstly trying to figure out if she was going to live and two where all this new information was coming from. Firstly the bond, the bond had to be the skeletal dragon and with that she raised her face to look into its old eye sockets with a large sum of confusion and curiosity.
If the dragon had meant to kill her she'd probably would have been already, plus the tumbling words that echoed still in her ears said otherwise and she rose slowly dusting her knees in embarrassment at her alarm. She eyed Taiyoth warily and held out a hand in greeting to the new dragon-bond. If she knew one thing it was to be polite.
Hello Eve, your name I keep between us. I deeply apologize you waited so long. If I had known how I would've flown across the distances to reach you in time. I cannot fathom the heartache you must have endured. I hope I can make up for lost time between you and I.
If there was one thing Tangle knew, dragon bonds weren't always common, dragon bonds where solid, intimate things, like family or friendships that lasted eons but even further than that for dragons and their charges. So Tangle fumbled her words and did her best to reassure her new companion and perhaps herself. A small part of her still paranoid after her booting from yet another home to here. Refocusing on those around her, she cleared her throat and finally after a moment cracked a wary smile addressing Keldos again teasingly this time, it struck her then at that moment when the dragon lunged what had been bugging her.
Spoken like a true sun child. Quite curious to see you here fletchling.
Teasing the poor man she wondered at all if this was perhaps one of the many brothers and sisters Raferties spoke of, she spoke the word 'fletchling' in kindness a silly name she'd once called Raferties at one point or another. If he was related oh perhaps he'd catch on, or perhaps he'd be confused, either way it was an amusing thought for her.
