The night was late. Technically it was about to tip over to the next day. In various places around the Weyr and Village people were gathered with friends and loved ones, or by themselves as they preferred, and preparing to count down the last seconds of the year. Time to ring in the old and cheer for the new!

On a slightly distant, snowy hill, where she could see both locations easily, stood a lone woman. Clad in warm garb against the cold, her breath puffed white in the air. An orange and white stripped, knitted cap covered her short hair, once long and brown, now a much shorter charcoal black-gray. Absently she shifted her right shoulder, comforting the ache that occasionally flared up there.

"You don't know my face," she said with a wry, amused but fond smirk. "But when I needed it most, you were there to help support me in the literal fight of my life."

"I can't do much aside from saying 'thank you, and that's not even enough. But... maybe this'll do!" Pressing her gloved fingers to her lips, she blew a kiss to both.

And in every home of those who'd been there in the darkness, somewhere easily found, would be a gleaming pink ribbon twisted in the familiar shape. Then, with a final smile, Aeon whisked her away.

This is my way to say Thank You, everyone, for helping me get through this year. Whether it was cheering me on, chatting with me on Discord to distract me from my pain and nausea, making me laugh and offering comforting thoughts and prayers, I know it would've been a lot harder to get through this fight to where I am now without you.
So a little gift from me! Everyone has been given the Hope Giver Badge on your mini profile, just a little fun thing, and everyone has a Pink Ribbon Token for each of their characters (current or future) that you may turn in at any point for a creature of your choice, which I will happily make for you with any specifications you want.
And I mean any creature in the Database. Firelizard, Illaro, Dragon, Unicorn, Gryphon, you pick it! There are no limits aside from no Dream Creatures. Each creature will also have a 'Hope Giver' Mutation (a pink ribbon image or motif somewhere on their body), which I will ONLY permit to be used once per character to those members who have the Hope Giver badge. So this will be a very exclusive Mutation.
