Anari couldn't say how long it had taken from the moment she vanished from the White Kitsune Party to now. One second she'd been standing in a tent, looking wonderingly at the amulet-thing in her hand, the next, she was transported to an odd, half-underground ruins, sharing a chamber with a massive creature she'd never seen before. Her connection with her Bondeds had been fuzzy and mute. She was uninjured, but unable to escape the huge complex on her own.
The creature was injured, and just as unable to escape on his own.
They'd had to work together.
It took trust, teaching, understanding, and the formation of a Bond that lay almost akin to dragon-kind before it was over, and they saved each other's lives more than once. But at long last the creature took a first step onto the last ledge, out into the wild world with Anari riding comfortably on his furry back. With a flare of raven-feathered wings he roared his freedom and launched into the air, winging the way back towards the Weyr with the junior Weyrwoman guiding with thoughts and legs, the amulet from before gleaming from her right bracer.
Bond! Dream Creature to Anari! ((Fade will be requested in the Exchange lol!))
Dream Creature K'tiro
From the moment Anari met the creature she came to call K'tiro he has been something of a mystery to her. Certainly she has never seen another of his kind before anywhere near Haven territory, nor has she found any record of a sighting in any of her researching.
At times he seems almost beastial in his intelligence, along the same level as a Sumine. Concepts such as leaping where she indicated they should go had to be painstakingly taught by pointing and even some demonstration, and he wasn't sure how to get food from containers he couldn't bite through without her help. But then there are moments when his brilliance comes into light, when he forges the path where Anari can see none and senses danger long before it manifests. Some may say it's merely instinct but Anari doesn't agree; it's something more though she struggles to put her finger on it. The best way she's ever found to clarify is that 'it's like I'm speaking one language and he's only fluent in another, something that I don't have the capability to use or even learn.' K'tiro had never used Mindspeech with Anari, though whether that's because he can't or whether he uses some unique version that she can't pick up on she couldn't guess. Regardless, she is adamant that there is intelligence there and that he is capable of reason and emotion at least on his own terms. He certainly has a personality all his own, at times very affectionate and at times stubborn depending on his mood, and even with the capability to be self-sacrificing.
Physically it is much easier to define K'tiro's abilities. He is agile like a cat, and Anari has seen him leap onto platforms barely larger than she herself is tall, somehow positioning all four paws onto it and remaining there for an extended duration. His strength is undeniable, making mighty bounds and cracking stone with a single blow from his paws. His wings, the span of which match his length and then some, grant flight and though she had never verified this Anari theorizes that he might even have a Pegasus' flight endurance to fly for days at a time. Certainly she has witnessed him fly for elongated durations. He fights with both swats of his paws to send enemies flying much like a cat and biting them, shaking them to wring them to bits as a dog will a toy. He will also pounce on them repeatedly if all else fails, crushing foes under his weight.
Visually, one of the first things people see when they encounter K'tiro is his sheer size. From feet to shoulder he stands some twelve feet tall, with his head towering another four feet above that not including ears or horns. He seems almost a hybrid or chimera of creatures. In body structure he resembles a wolf with four long legs and a chest that is deeper than his abdomen. His tail is decidedly feline, flowing evenly from the base of his spine to a length about equal to his body's. The lower halves of all four legs are scaled like a bird's and flesh-tone in color, with three toes on his feet tipped in ebony claws; he has minor grasping capabilities with his front ones as Anari has seen him clumsily pick up rocks. K'tiro had two large ears that are positioned more on the sides of his head than the top, probably a good thing as he has a pair of short, somewhat forward-sweeping horns there. His horns seem to be made of pale blue crystal. The fur on his body and head is brown with a black undertone and rather feathery-plush, and on his throat and belly is white and also feathery-plush, and his face is tan and velvety. His blunt muzzle is darker brown than his face and soft hide rather than furred. Like a cheetah a black line runs from beneath each eye to his muzzle. His eyes have no iris or pupils and have Anari convinced there's some dragon in him: depending on his mood his eyes with gleam with an eyeshine-like glow of color - yellow for hunger, pink-red for aggression or angry-distress, white for grief or worry-distress, and when he's calm, happy, or neutral his eyes lack any color at all, seeming like bottomless, inky pools.
