Calling on explorers!

In an effort to catalogue and potentially study the vast amount of species still undiscovered in our area, it is the wish of the Council that volunteers sign up.
Anyone who wish to sign up can do so on lists supplied at the Bakery, the Library and in the Weyr mess hall.
We cannot guarantee your safety on this venture as there, obviously, will be unknow species and dangers. Details for how to log species will be provided those who wish to participate, and payment will also be given regardless of success.

Let's find more species!
A humming mushroom? Walking lichen? A toad with rabbit ears? Go nuts!
In an attempt to log more species and fill out our Botanist's guide to Teragaia and Animalia Teragaia, I am hosting this combined adventure/create new species!
Bear in mind this is a first logging, so nobody (IC) is expecting anyone to know species, family, etc unless you invent something obviously canine for example!
Also, the finder keeps the right to name what they find! As they're logged into the Botanica or Animalia you can assume it's been after some study has been done to decide order-family-species and so-on if you wish. Or, leave it open with only a description from a fleeting glance your oc had at dusk and leave for others to fill in more!

Site rules apply, I'm not putting any limits on number of players or shines, this is up to you guys to drive forward! It can be as dangerous or not as you want, that's up to you with what you find, but do keep in mind this will be unexplored forests and elsewhere, so chances are you'll eventually run into something! And you know, I might post a narration here abd there
Though, as a little temptation, it's highly likely some of you might walk out of this with a new shiny!
