(Entry 1 of 2)
: a person who records in detail the life of a usually famous contemporary
Thunder and lightning crashed in the sky and rain was soaking the ground, turning it into a slippery morass that the wise kept indoors to avoid. This included a certain Guardian Angel, Keeper of the Haven Village Library. Raferties was in no way a waterproof creature and when his wings became saturated not only did it add about ten pounds to his back at the very least it took hours to dry off. So when he first heard the storm pick up and received confirmation from Girith about it he elected to ride it out in the Library, safe and dry with plenty to read. With him were the Koro family of Kirava, who took care of the Library in his absence, and the Cuddlebug pair Codex and Acer, as well as the ever-present Aurae. At current the Athids were tucked in the warmth of his plush wings recharging and Aurae was curled across his shoulders, reading along with him. So in spite of nature's wrath the Solarian was quite content.
It was as he was turning a page that one of the skylights suddenly banged down and open, letting in not only a cascade of water but a fierce gale. Raferties jumped to his feet, dislodging his Bondeds in the process, to try and fly up to close the window before any of the precious books were damaged beyond repair. But he was interrupted as the wind that roared in lifted up several books from the shelves and sent then whirling around the room...
Where they started to glow!
"What -?" began the Lorekeeper but that was as far as he got as lighting crashed, filling the room with light...and then he was gone, turned into a whirl of feathers that were drawn into each of seven of the floating books. Then just as calmly as could be the skylight closed and the wind dissipated, depositing the books on the floor where they continued to glow.
Instantly the Athid, Aurae, and the Kirava - sensing as did any with a mental connection to the angel that while he still lived it was like he was in a deep slumber, awareness of him without communication - scattered to try and find help storm or no storm, leaving the door ajar behind them.

Rules:
*Site rules apply, as always.
*Only PCs in this Bonding, no NPCs.
*As there are only 6 books to choose from, only 6 characters can enter. So for now only one character per person. If after a week they're not all chosen I'll let second characters enter.
*I will close the Bonding after a month or when all the books are chosen.
*There may be minor elements of me giving or altering abilities that your Characters may have access to. These will last for the duration of the Bonding.
*Some of the choices will have battle, some will not. I don't kill or permanently maim characters, but I will not be holding off on fights if you choose a battle book. There is a clue to what each book is: it's up to you to interpret it.
FIRST POST REQUIREMENTS:
Have your character show up. Do whatever you like, or inquire with any of Raf's Bondeds - you are free to minorly powerplay them as needed for your entrance. At some point approach and in bold let me know what book you're investigating. That's it!
ONLY ONE PERSON PER BOOK!
