Fait cursed under her breath as her ship stuttered before once again coming to a stop. It had been badly damaged in the crash, and there probably weren't enough materials on this primitive planet to even begin to rebuild. Luckily, she'd brought plenty of snacks in case of an emergency and she could create a shelter to shield her from the elements. After scavenging all of the usual parts she could collect from her now useless ship, the elite set about constructing her base.
It took only a matter of minutes thanks to the emergency housing unit she had brought along with her, and it wasn't long before she was looking at a replica of her own home back on Irk, complete with furnishings and a cooling unit full of more snacks than she could carry. It was always best to be prepared for the worst-case scenario. In the meantime, she would need to find a way off this planet and back to her own.
With the primary concerns of food and shelter taken care of, at least for now, Fait took out a scanning device; it would show her the lay of the land and whether any potential dangers were nearby...or that was its intended purpose, anyway. Luckily the screen hadn't gotten cracked during the crash landing, and she frowned when she saw a blip near the top of the screen. She could follow it, but it wouldn't exactly be wise to wander around this place unarmed.
After a moment of consideration, Fait armed herself with her plasma pistol and moved forward, tracking the source of the blip on her scanner. It had led her to what appeared to be a research facility in ruins, though there was a pool of hydroxylic acid in the center. Grimacing at the sight of it, Fait knew she had to get off of this planet as soon as possible. Who knew what other dangers it could be harboring?
