Jeremi and Kemori
Jeremi's laughter would filter to Kemori as he sank with his lover onto the rather interesting, not-as-stable-as-it-looked ground.
"Who said. I was going for. Relaxing?" he asked in turn, being rolled over into his back on the squishy grass. This was one of the many things he absolutely adored about Jeremi: how he could go from romantic to playful and back in the wink of an eye.
The rocking nature of the ground tumbled the pair back over, putting Kemori on top, but then it wobbled again reversing their positions once more. The Kitsune kept up the game, one tail or another poufing against the healer at random moments and on random locations seemingly of their own whim, and if Kemori snuck in a nibble or nip here and there, well...
He'd be the first to admit that he found Jeremi tasty!
Taki and Emyr the BubbleBod
Taki giggled quite happily as she batted at the hearts and knocked a few of them down to gently bounce against her and Emyr's heads. It was a purely playful thing and thus she loved it! Curiously she looked at what was written on each one. The solid pink one had her ears twitching with both confusion and amusement – what in the world did that mean? - while the mosaic one made her Awww!
But the lace one was another thing entirely.
*Do I know the Game we're in?* she queried to Emyr. *Well... I thought I did. This is called the Tunnel of Love, right Emyr? And we're floating on a swan boat down a river beneath hearts and fluffy candy clouds.* Taki took that moment to reach out and snatch some. *Yum!* She licked her fingers clean as she looked thoughtful. *Though I guess someone might call this a ride more than a game. Maybe that's what they're meaning, Emyr?* The BubbleBod bobbed a bit as the boat paused before going on around the bend. Taki patted his bubble shoulder, offering him some of the fluffy candy then giggling at herself.
This was so much fun!
Cobalt and Tamren
Cobalt tipped her head briefly at the suggestion.
"I can't say I ever have. During the War Warforged in my unit were told to not bother the food stores in general; they were for the fleshy soldiers. And since I don't get hungry It's never... occurred to me before. But it wouldn't damage any of my internals. Warforged can eat things such as magic-laced foods and gain the benefits, or drink healing potions though they don't work well on us." Cautiously, as if it was some foreign animal she didn't know, Cobalt moved over to the table and picked up a cookie, putting it into her mouth and biting with loud crunching.
Yeah, lack of lips made for noise crunching.
When it was done the Warforged tipped her head.
"Odd...but not unpleasant." Hey, that was close to a positive! Several of her Bondeds would be very pleased.
She paused when Tamren laughed, not out of offense but more out of curiosity as to why he'd laughed though when he explained he nodded.
"I have heard a lot of people speak such around me with a certain manner of... disdain towards me. There are many who see a Warforged and think I can't understand or appreciate it, because we were made for War." She shrugged, though inside she felt a twinge she hadn't really noticed before when it happened, at least until she had arrived on Teragaia and began changing.
"I'm glad I could answer. I'm not always good at explaining things." She was about to ask a question in turn, whether or not he drew or had any hobbies, when they entered the next room and anything she'd thought of to say died.
For a few moments she just stood there, staring, then finally took a couple of steps forward.
"These - " she gasped, heedless of anything Tamren was saying. "These are all mine!"
Only a few of the works would look 'sophisticated,' by any measure, on paper and looking done with paints and pencil and even crayon and chalk. These would clearly be things she'd seen and drawn from her time on Teragaia, each with nameplates.
An African elephant, grazing: "Kimbule"
A Protector Gargoyle curled in the sun, with a Black Mottle Firelizard sunning on his stony hide: "Bulwark and Phiarlan"
A blue dragon, also sunning and simply named: "A Blue Dragon"
A building done in detail: "The Dojo"
The others, however, were much more harshly done. These were crude lines on pieces of metal, looking a mix of chalk and scratches, some artwork visible beneath the newer lines. Few would have nameplates but their topics would be simple to understand: horses, various weapons, towers and fortresses, random trees and lakes and rivers. Only one would have a nameplate, and if Tamren was keen enough of eye he would see lines from this one hidden beneath all the others: a roughly drawn map, seemingly pointing out two locations and details between them with symbols like stars and circles indicating...something only Cobalt knew. Its nameplate read simply: "First Drawing – The Map"
"How did they get these?" Cobalt murmured, looking at one of the metal-backed lakes. "Most of these were sanded off of me, re-enameled over, when I had to be repaired." There would be an implication on this statement, that these scratches and chalk lines, perhaps made with a rock she'd found, had been put on her own armored body in lieu of any other material to use.
