Name: Raeneth
Species: Demon/Some kind of Elf(unknown to her)
Gender: Female
Age: Two Centuries
Appearance: Raeneth looks to be in her early twenties, though she is much older. Her eye color changes from the shine of a dull moon to the gloomy hue of a heavy cloud. Despite this, they often appear to be bright, almost cat-like. Black hair finds its way to the middle of her back, and is never tied or put up. It doesn't fully conceal her ears, which are long and pointed. This is one demon who is not on the taller side. She only reaches 5'3". Her slender build allows her to achieve a weight of 110 pounds, including tail, under a light sheet of muscle. Her chosen attire is leather armor, dyed as black as possible to fit into the night. The scent of pure cinnamon follows, to hide her own from any possible pursuers. Of course, one could easily find her by the cat noises. She forgets about those.
Personality: This is no people person. If she appears to be friendly, one should keep a firm hand on their belongings and walk away. She steals money, jewelry, timepieces, and whatever else seems interesting or worth something to a richer person. If there is no motivation to take from someone, she will be rude, caring none for social circumstances unless they're necessary or full of wealthy participants. Raeneth isn't afraid to start fights, and will do so intentionally if she feels like it. Her attitude could be the result of a terrible past, or that she doesn't have magic like other demons, though it could just be that she doesn't know the meaning of her own name. There are exceptions to immediately being on her bad side, including creatures, children, the elderly, and the disabled. Of course, she isn't completely immune to friendship. Acts of kindness may cause her to become an ally of sorts, meaning she would probably turn into an annoyance. "Friends" aren't safe from picked pockets or a quickly dwindling food supply, but she won't take things that she knows are very important to them. An important thing to note is that it all changes with the appearance of booze or maybe catnip. It has to be a lot of catnip.
Abilities: As for abilities, she can be incredibly quick when focused, handle a great deal of weight with no problem, pick a few locks, and can be incredibly hard to kill. She can hear and smell beyond what humans can, though not quite as well as a hound.
History: As a child, she lived amongst humans and other humanoids resembling them. The obvious differences from everyone sprouted a great deal of mistrust for both sides. She used sneakiness to get what she wanted, since a normal life was out of reach. Through this, she came across art and literature, taking a liking for them. She taught herself to read and write in the common language, and learned as much as possible before she discovered liquor.
She kept stealing and drinking comfortably until the townsfolk rigged a trap inside of the barn she frequented. After it exploded, she hid away to heal and become skilled at hunting. With time, she returned to the towns, staying right out of sight. She continued to keep an eye on the youngest residents, keeping predators away and leading little ones back home if they happened to wander too far.
Curiosity came as she noticed a strange humanoid in the forests. He was thin with pointed ears, wore incredibly light armor, and was very quick on his feet. She followed the elf back to his apparent home, but was stopped by a couple of confused guards. They made it clear that she wasn't meant to get in. The world inside was one of beauty, a marvelous mixture of magic and nature. She met with the king by the pushy suggestion of the guards who tied her hands. The king simply stared at her, emotions very mixed. Somehow, the sight of her caused him to summon a group of mages. They had one focus on mind, which was to exile the stranger. It worked a bit too well, throwing her to a strange world.
There, she found odd acquaintances and foes, magic, and many unusual happenings. Raeneth even found that a family member still lived. Her life was far from perfect, but she could stand it, at least until another change of scenery happened...
