As Cain returned from the water fight, probably picking bits of rubber from his ribs, the Servant of Death would find someone waiting in the front room of the Weyr he shared with Taki, playing with the Myrgwae.

*Look who I found!* Taki laughed as the pup bounded around her. *He says he's waiting for someone!*
The 'someone' was quickly made apparent as he turned, saw Cain, and bounded up to stand up in front of the skeleton, putting his front paws on Cain's shoulders and promptly licking his bony face with enthusiastically wagging tail.
Sorry I missed you today; I was playing with a couple of my pack before I left to find you. But I'm here now, and we're together!

You Can't Take my Sunshine Away Male Sand Mistwatcher

Sunshine, sunshine, bright and cheery, by chance have you taken canine form? For surely there hasn't been a Mistwatcher born with quite this optimistic of a personality. It matters little of the situation at hand; he will find some kind of silver lining to it. Is the sun shining and the temperature far too close to triple digits? **Great! Let's go swimming and invite everyone along!** Is it cloudy and raining? **Ooh, I'll get the board games and puzzles, and when it's over we'll go jump in puddles!** Are you sick or just in poor spirits? **Don't worry - I know just what will make you feel better. And I brought you flowers!** It seems he always has a ready reply to even the darkest of times. Even jabs from less-kindly folk about his rather short stature are met with laughter and something about how isn't he just a pint-sized bundle or would you like to see him fit into a picnic basket, it's so fun! His sunny attitude might become grating on some personalities but that's okay. You're just having a bad day and he'll find some means to put things into a different perspective and cheer you right up!
To look at him he, superficially, appears in coloration like any other Sand does. He has a white muzzle, throat, and belly and white legs and paws. The rest of him is a reddish tan including his perky ears. But his body shape is decidedly different. He is, to put it bluntly, short. His legs are stubby and his tail curls over his back in a fluffy bush almost as long as his body is, and even though he's full-grown he can be picked up and carried by an average person. What caused this unique form is up for debate. Should anyone mistake him for a Familiar or Sumine however his teal eyes and teal forehead gem, and his clumsy alternate form, will set things alright.
