HOT!!
At least that was the consensus from a certain residential non-Shiny Kitsune. For the first time in his memory Kemori had forgone his usual multi-layered kimono attire and had 'borrowed' a short sleeved shirt from his lover, Jeremi, as well as a pair of shorts that they'd altered some time ago by adding a hole for his tail. Said lone tail (because seriously, more than one at his back was just plain sweltering!) was hanging limply behind his legs, a fraction of its former self, deflated from the heat all around it. He'd had Jeremi assist him with braiding his long, white hair, a desperate attempt to keep it off his neck that only half worked.
Yes, it was extremely hot.
Kemori sighed, highly considering returning to the Weyr he shared with Jeremi to just sprawl on the bed and try to pretend it was wintertime... when he a couple of children playing that reminded him of some fun he used to have as a child himself with a couple of his older, more elementally-magically skilled cousins.
And he got an idea!

It took some doing to get everything set up. For one, Kemori had to work in secret which while not overly an unusual thing for him was made all the more tricky by having to ask around for some things he needed, especially when he didn't know everything by name. But finally, finally he had everything ready! Set beside the lake he had a boarder of poles with a thick white strip of fabric tied between them, marking the area where he intended all of this to take place, with a handy illusion spell to mask everything so the surprise wouldn't be spoiled.
Now just to spread the word, and watch how things unfolded!

And finally the Summer Event I promised!
This will run for four weeks (give or take lol!). This first week is simply a 'sign up,' as it were. Simply have your characters seeing or hearing of Kemori's little gathering through whatever means you please. It can be a flier, word of mouth, wandering on the scene by happenstance, what have you.
When you get there the scene is much as I described. By the Lake there's a large area, like football field size, marked out by poles and strips of white cloth to make a 'wall.' There's only one gap, where Kemori is standing to prevent anyone from accidentally entering the area ahead of time. Just have your characters show up, but please, no crossing the border. In ONE WEEK I will post again, to kick everything off properly!
