The goat monster shook their head slightly, rubbing the fur between their small horns to check for a bump. There didn't seem to be any injury so they could only hope that they hadn't got a concussion from their fall. Frisk stood up, cracking their eyes open for a moment; this didn't look anything like Hometown, not even in the slightest. The air was still and quiet, no recognizable sounds of the hustle and bustle of people going about their day. They frowned slightly but kept their eyes open as they moved slowly and carefully, memorizing the feeling of the land underneath their paws.
Where were they? How were they going to get home? Mom would be worried sick and father even more so; they had already lost two children, and Frisk knew their hearts might not be able to take losing another. They were getting older, and the last thing they wanted to give their parents was a broken heart, knowing their final child was lost and unable to find their way back. Determined to find a way home, they ventured further in the hopes of finding some clue. --------------------- Aaaaaand here's Frisk! I'm not looking for anything too specific as long as their personalities don't clash.
It wouldn't be long before the newcomer was joined by a silent companion. Just on the edge of their vision, this silent shadow would pad along, never quite staying in one spot long enough to get a good idea of what they were. A few more feet would pass by before Frisk would find a large star cat weaving between his legs, purring loudly. Hello! And welcome. Please. Won't you stay awhile? And with that, the astrum would lock a bond firmly into place.
Now, just who was more determined?

Voids have never really been known to be one thing just like they have never been known to be loud. So is it really any surprise that this one is as quiet as fallen snow in the middle of the night and...Well, quite frankly stubborn to a fault. Though if you ask him, he is simply determined to see things through to the end. When all those around him has given up, he is right there on the front lines, pushing forward. Rarely giving an inch, he takes yards and miles if you let him. And more often than not, even when you don't let him.
This however does not translate well to when he is wrong...Which is actually surprisingly often. Once his claws are sunk into something, it often takes moving the planetary bodies themselves before he will relent and admit that maybe, just maybe, he wasn't in the right. More often than not, it is just easier to work around any beliefs he may have than it is to try and get him to change his mind. That doesn't make him any less loyal to you though and he will be with you through thick and thin. Not matter what.
The illogical field could teleport him to another galaxy, and he will find some way back to you. Just...Don't ask how.
This Void is big. Among a Maine coon type of big. Fluffy, huge paws to squish your face in the morning. Rounded chest to give bone shaking purrs. Nice sharp claws to dig into...Well. You get the idea. He isn't on he small side. Completely black, he is only broken up by the fact he tends to wear a sock on his right back paw. Only his right back paw. Don't ask why. Don't try to remove it without a replacement. Just accept it and move on. At night, he will often watch over you, his ebony light flickering softly to keep the things that go bump in the witching hour away.
Frisk glanced down, a little startled by the other's sudden appearance but then they smiled a little and reached down to stroke the soft fur. We'll see. I need to find a way to let my father and mother know I'm okay, they signed in response though it might be a bit difficult to make out the words at first since they had used sign language for a long time and were quite fluent at it. They couldn't recall the last time they had seen a feline this large, or with such large paws. Hmm, now what to do for a name?
It would take a moment or two of thought before Frisk's face lit up and they grinned at the Void. I'm going to call you Caspurr.
