Carrot woke up in an unknown place. He glanced around, but didn't recognize anything. He wasn't sure he was, but he had a feeling he would be here for a long time and it wasn't like he had any friends or family to go back to. His parents had died just a few years ago and he didn't have any friends either. Sure people talked to him but once they knew who he really was they would stop and avoid him at all cost, afraid he would hurt them or kill them. He shook himself from his thoughts as he stood up from the spot he woke up from and started to look around more. He would need to find a place to stay and some food to eat.
--------------------------------- You can give one creature to him. Doesn't matter what.
Oh? What was this then? Watching from the underbrush, the Cloud would study this newcomer, wondering just who he was and how he had gotten here. Well...Not so much the later part. She grew up here and knew that sudden teleports were as common as breathing between firelizards, dragons, and the illogical field running amok. But there was something different about him...Something that drew her towards him like a moth to the moon. Not one to say no to a calling, she moved quietly along after him for a bit. She wasn't one to ignore a calling, but that didn't mean she had to rush head long into it either.
After awhile, she felt she had seen enough and would shift to her cloud form. Moving a bit faster than she intended, she would swirl around his ankles like a menacing fog before forming just a bit in front of him. Letting out a bit of a cough, she dipped her head and gave him a canine grin. Appears lost. Be lost together, yes? That would be all the warning Carrot would be bestowed before the bond clicked firmly into place. Good luck getting rid of her now.

Fearing the unknown had never proven to be very useful in her life. Her parents feared it, causing them to run the same paths over and over and over till ravines formed. Villages feared it and sentenced people to die by flames or rope. It had chased her out of homes and dens. Friends lost to it and family watching from the safety of all that they knew and would ever knew. But her? She wanted to explore. To reach and touch the clouds she shifted too. To be able to see the world below her and know everything. The good. The bad. The known. The unknown. To taste the sunlight and swim in the salty waves. To feel the warmth of the flame and know the coldness of snow. Fear has its place, she is wise enough to realize that, but she will never ever let it hold her back.
Never let it hold you back either. For as sure as she can dance among the clouds, you will be her partner in all things. Leaving your side for good is just not an option she can bear and doesn't even consider. For while sometimes her adventurous may take her away from your side, she will always find her way back to you. To her home. For you are her home Carrot. Now and always.
Like many of her rank, this Cloud's fur is a white so pure it is almost blinding. The silver comes around her neck, almost like a collar and is sprinkled rather liberally throughout her tail. Interesting enough, black rims her ice white eyes, giving them a heavy lined appearance and her nose is a bit off in color as it is a rosy pink instead of being a deep black. Her diamond like gem sits squarely in the middle of her forehead in a octagon cut. The fiery colors will sometimes play across her back when she sleeps if the angle of light hits her just right.
Startled by the voice he suddenly heard in his mind, Carrot quickly stopped walking. He noticed a cloud form at his feet. "What the? What is going on?" He no sooner had said that when a creature formed out of the cloud. They looked fox-like or perhaps wolf. It was hard to tell. He didn't have much time to think on it when he heard a voice inside his mind. He wasn't sure what was really going on. Something in his mind told him he was stuck with this creature, not that he really would mind having a companion. It was better than being lonely in this strange new place. He reached out to the touched the mistwatcher creature. "I guess I should name you right?" He was silent for a moment. "How about Snowberry?"
