As for Gertude....I'm not entirely sure there. Possibly more puppy? Forbidden puppy? Forbidden bird? Just Forbidden? Not sure. May need help here...Maybe.

For Cain:

Keeping Each Other Warm Dust

As part of a mated pair, this Dust doesn't tend to stray far from her mate's side though she is equally attached to her bonded, Cain, and she can often be found snuggling him to keep him as warm as she can; it's hard to regulate one's body temperature without the necessary components, after all. She is not as eloquent than her mate, but then again she doesn't have to be so long as she can get her point across. She is also more willing to jump to their aid, risking life and limb to protect both her mate and her bonded regardless of said mate's protests since she can always dissipate after being injured and thus not be overly affected. In her corporeal form she vaguely resembles a Sheltie with bright amber eyes and a tawny-colored gem in the middle of her forehead. 

She doesn't like being left alone for too long as she has slight separation anxiety due to having been separated from her own family at far too young of an age, and due to this she has to have someone with her most of the time, preferably someone that she knows and trusts. This Dust also wants to have a family of her own at some point, and will likely insist that any future puppies she or her mate may have remain with her until they are old enough to bond with someone on their own.

This female Cloud is soft-spoken and somewhat more well spoken than others of her kind, having been raised by a Smoke Mistwatcher who taught her how to speak when she was but a pup herself. She doesn't mind serving as emotional support to her mate and to Cain, and whenever either of them wishes to talk to someone, ask for advice, or even just start ranting, she is more than willing to lend an ear. She does her best to keep her mate from rushing into things, though she would be lying if she said she didn't wish to protect her bonded as well. This Cloud takes on a form that somewhat resembles a silvery-white Samoyed, albeit one that's a bit smaller than a normal dog of said breed, and possesses eyes that almost appear white with the faintest tint of blue, and a white diamond-like gem on her forehead.


Like her mate, she also wishes to have puppies at some point but would rather adopt orphaned ones than have them herself or cause her mate to have them, and she isn't in as much of a rush since she is a little younger than her mate in terms of age. She is unwilling to be leave her mate home alone for any reason, and will typically insist on staying together with her and her bonded no matter what, just to be sure that neither her mate nor Cain experience any mental, emotional, or physical pain under her watch.

I may end up writing these nerds myself because I ship them and their completely out-of-left-field romance. Also am taking a few liberties because they're obviously not a reproductive pair. They want kids, they can adopt.
