Hello all!
This is a little something I do every now and again, asking our members (typically via IM or such) if there is any way that Sundered Weyr can improve. This is a GROUP forum, after all, and all opinions matter!
But this time I decided to try something a little different - a Poll!
I have listed a few ideas of my own above, with an option to post your own ideas as well!
I hope to get some solid opinions to help continue to grow our Sundered Weyr.
Also, of there is anything you think is detracting from the site or should be done away with, please feel free to speak to that below as well.
About the Two-Week Posting Rule:
As a little refresher, this rule indicated that those who host a Bonding, Adventure, or Chase were required to make some kind of update post at least every two weeks, with a single Waver available for extenuating circumstances to give another week, or lose control over the Thread to another. Over time, this was lengthened to a once a month requirement, then dropped altogether due to lack of activity and the small size of our site population.
Now, while I have not minded the no-deadline method and know others have, I also am aware that if something of this sort were reactivated it would naturally increase site activity. Those who participated would as a matter of course be prompted to post quickly or risk not Bonding at all or not gaining other rewards. But it is also stressful for some to have a hard deadline.
If this is a desired change the exact length of time would be up for open discussion, so don't let the name give the wrong impression.
