Ok, have a few question to put to the community as a whole. The first one is this:
I have come to the realization that if I ever want to publish my Solarian stories in any sense, there's a term that needs changing:
'Solarian Truesteel'
You see, while the words 'Solaris' and 'Solarian' have been used far too many places to be copyrighted, at least as far as I think I have to worry, if I used 'Truesteel' it would be, well, truly stolen. Truesteel is a DnD term coined by Wizards of the Coast. So I need something else to take its place.
I thought of taking out the 'arian' and 'true' parts, so Solsteel, but when I mentally said it aloud it sounded like 'soul steal' and so kinda not what I was after. Then I thought of Sunsteel, but to be honest that kinda sounds too (for lack of a better word) amateur (though it could work in a pinch). So I thought I'd toss out a hat and see what names the wonderful people of the community could toss in!
The whole reason I'm also putting it out here is so that when a name is decided upon I'm going to convert my term here to it, and I want everyone to help me remember to use the new name as opposed to Solarian Truesteel.
Just post here with as many names as you can think for the metal that forms Raferties' staff and arm cuffs, and Keldos' armor and sword! No idea is too out there!
Some complicated angel melody that basically translates to "you evil, it hurts" (another amateur move though for if you can't name it, don't say it XD )
