Frisk had every intention of leaving the village with as much magical food as they could muster once all was said and done so that even if they couldn't visit the village very often there would be a readily available source of healing to restore those injured to their a fully healthy state. Granted, it might be a bit much for them to handle alone, but they had handled events far worse and had managed to come out on the other side relatively unscathed.
Frisk waited for everyone to speak their opinions, and by the time it seemed that everyone was finished Elanti had rejoined them. She looked exhausted but relieved, and she leaned against Frisk's side as she quietly relayed that while there had been several injured by the rubble, they had been rescued quickly enough that they had been able to be healed. Frisk smiled at her and nodded, stroking her neck before turning their attention back to the issue at hand.
"I have heard both of your opinions, and I think it would be best for us to go as soon as we possibly can before the child gets too far," Frisk said softly, glancing briefly at the man who had thanked them previously. "When we find him, I will ask him for his side of the story." Their smile turned a little sad. "I know how it feels to be judged for having the metaphorical blood of a monster, especially as monsters in the world I come from are fully capable of absorbing human souls and through that combined power ascending to become a godlike being. It was the same fear that caused the war between humans and monsters. However, above all, monster souls are made up of love, hope, and compassion." This time they met the eyes of the main speaker. "So I ask that you think twice before using the word 'monster' as an insult, because a monster is one of the people who came to aid your village."
But we are wasting time, Elanti added, stepping forward to address the crowd. Might anyone have seen which direction that this child might have run in? I am certain with Frisk and I tracking him on land and the gryphon keeping an eye on things from the air, we might be able to find him that much more quickly. And that way, they would be able to find out if he was scared, injured, or a combination of both. For now, though, we ask that you return to your families and see what you can do to help comfort them. We will return with the child one way or another.
Frisk nodded in agreement with Elanti, relaxing a little as she spoke. They didn't want to cause conflict, they had simply wished to put a halt to the misconceptions brought on by prejudice. Not all monsters were the same, of course, but the last thing Frisk wanted was for the villagers to judge someone based upon the heritage they might have possessed. Teragaia did not need a war between humanity and and the beings that served as the monsters of this world.
Elanti nudged Frisk, jolting them out of her thoughts, and they gave her a sheepish little smile before climbing onto her back. "We'll be back as soon as we possibly can," they said quietly.
