Thanks again. This forum design is what drew me in, actually, it's very aesthetically pleasing! Do I need to talk to someone about joining the Valentine event, or can I just make a character and then jump in?

You also can choose up to two 'stars' (displayed as ** in the Database) for free for your character. But you don't have to do any of this until you want to/are comfortable doing so.
