Khareesh had been less than thrilled when Jhem had returned to him, those weeks ago, slathered in banana cream pie. He could only assume it was her own machinations that had caused the mess, and what was more, in the weeks that followed, she'd gotten fat. Egg-fat. That could only mean she'd risen and found herself a mate.
Now the air genasi was sitting in a folding chair in the Weyr Bowl, placing egg pots full of hot sand and copper-hued firelizard eggs onto an unsteady folding table. Nearby lounged blue mottle dragon Myth, who eyed the entire process somewhat disbelievingly.
Mostly, the dragon couldn't believe Jhem of all creatures, an irritating copper mottle, had found a mate willing to put up with her shenanigans.
I've alerted the Dragon Grapevine and several other news outlets of your egg situation, K'reesh, but do we want to inflict that...creature's spawn on innocent bystanders? questioned Myth. Jhem routinely terrorized him with glitter and confetti and pie and...
And.
"Don't be so judgmental, Myth my heart," Khareesh told his dragon, laughing softly as he aligned the egg pots. "There are ten eggs. There's maybe a one in ten chance you get offspring as copper as the mother."
Don't tempt the Illogical Field.
"Welcome, welcome, fair winds and fine fortune, my friends," Khareesh greets every newcomer to the Weyr Bowl who stops by his table. "Surely, one needs a firelizard egg?"
The Ten Eggs:
1.Spirit of Song Egg
2.Elusive Illusion Egg
3.All the Finest Egg
4.Quirk of Quark Egg
5.Sound of Silence Egg
6.Many Small Wonders Egg
7.From Many, One Egg
8.Dreams and Ephemera Egg
9.Blessed Be Egg
10.Legionary Legend Egg
Welcome to my absolutely blind firelizard bonding! I know what's in each egg, but you don't. So, grab an egg per character to start (you may be able to take more if there's not much of a turnout but we'll see).
Each round I'll ask for your character to take their egg(s) on some kind of-something. Shopping? Looking for something? Having a crisis? Who knows, we haven't gotten there yet. This is just the show-up-and-pick-up-an-egg round!
