T'kin was out on patrol with his dragon over Shindrar Territory and he smiled to himself his dragon was proud and so was he. It wasn't until the two felt the spear go through Brixath's wing that they both panicked, T'kin was young at only twenty four but he knew what he had to do. He unbuckled himself and drew his Katana as he commanded Brixath silently to land, once his bronze was on the ground he was swarmed by Shindrar and T'kin flew off the back of his dragon attempting to attack and kill as many as possible. That didn't work though as they went to work slicing Brixath's wings off, T'kin roared his fury as he attacked onward until the pain overwhelmed him and he lost conciousness for a moment. In that moment he was caught and bound then tied up the soldiers smirked at him as he came to.
"Stupid bronzerider." One of the Privates hissed at him, T'kin spit in his face and growled back. "You will all die." He snarled at them, Brixath meanwhile was screaming his pain physically but mentally he was as calm as ever. Sending his last message to T'kin and letting him know he loved him still and reassuring him he went to death willingly. T'kin outwardly was stoic in front of these soldiers even as tears streamed down his face. Inwardly he cried and raged as Brixath's mental presence lessened, he sent a mental command the last he would ever send to Brixath.
GO! Jump and go between! He mentally roared at the dragon who creeled but jumped into the sky and went between for the last time. As the dragon was lost to them they began to beat on T'kin and they would have done worse if it hadn't been for a feral snarl that caught their attention another swordsman rushed them. He moved like lightning and struck at the enemies killing many and many more fleeing, meanwhileT'kin Takin got up and grabbed his Katana from the dead grasp of a Shindrar Captain and stabbed the already dead shindrar. His eyes streaming tears as he did so, he was lost in his rage and grief and pain he felt shattered and broken.
The Swordsman turned and with a swiftness that belied long years of training he grabbed Takin's arm and made him sheath his weapon. "That is enough friend. I am no enemy." He spoke in Nihonjin and Takin heard him but didn't hear him, the two walked back to the swordsman's home or at least where he was staying. Takin looked at him but didn't see him, he merely followed in a cloudy haze of pain and grief, he sat down when commanded and looked at the man. "I know your in pain. I know your suffering but would your dragon want this from you? This passive lump?" The swordsman asked trying to snap the man out of it so they could talk so that he could get some answers as to what the man's name was and what had gone on exactly.
At the mention of his dragon Takin's eyes lit up and he stared at the man seeing him for the first time. "NO! But he's dead now." His voice having a gruff edge to it and he glared at the man who knew nothing about him or about his dragon. "I know that so what's your name?" He asked as he looked at Takin, waiting for an answer knowing it would come soon. "My name is T'- Takin." Takin told him softly as the pain and grief threatened to overwhelm him again, send him back into the pit of despair and pain but he fought it down more and knew that he had to fight. He fought against his pain and stood to look at the man and gain more knowledge about him.
"I will avenge Brixath....I will kill them all." Takin said to the swordsman who chuckled, "A worthy goal indeed, my name is Satoshi. I'm a wandering swordsman, you can use this place as a place to stay as long as you need or like." He told Takin as the man nodded and Takin looked around gaining his bearings. Turning his grief into rage and deciding how best to strike against Shindrar and to kill them all destroy the sorry son's of wherry's who'd killed his dragon. It was over the course of several months that he and Satoshi came to know each other, Satoshi would patch his wounds and Takin would talk of his victories the two fell into an easy sort of friendship. Takin also began to realize the beginnings of a crush but he fought it down he was only appreciative of the man for what he'd done.
After many months he left to go and start his own way, he killed several shindrar and a sevenday later impressed his first Firelizard. That was the last time he'd see Satoshi for some time before he would go on and become a legendary enemy to Shindrar. Even as much as Satoshi the lone swordsman, he would become the demon.
