Somewhere deep in the forests of Teragaia, a most unusual sort of gathering occurred. Snakes of varying colors and sizes crawled out of their burrows, descended from trees, landed on the ground from where they had previously been flying. These certainly weren't your ordinary snakes, for each one of them sported a pair of wings.
At the same time a drumbeat would echo throughout, carrying the message A den has opened in the forest, don't cook these noodles! Harper Tomlin was at it again, it seemed, though even the somewhat butchered message carried a grain of truth.
The largest of the gathered snakes was ironically not out in the open with the rest of them, but rather resting concealed underneath a bush. She knew that to expose herself now would be suicide when she was still weakened from her journey to this place, and at least two of the others present were known to prey on other snakes.
Another pair, presumably mates, were off to the side, eyeing up the rest of the other snakes. Occasionally the smaller of the two would hiss quietly to the larger female, to which she would shake her head in return and let out an exasperated hiss of her own.
A third couldn't quite seem to sit still, her eyes filled with excitement as she inspected the leaves of an unknown plant and attempted to determine whether it was poisonous and, if it wasn't, what it could potentially be used for. She'd already amassed a collection of other specimens that she planned on examining further once she had the time.
If one listened closely, an almost musical sort of hissing could be heard from one of the nearby burrows, like the inhabitant was singing along to a tune only they would be able to hear.
Winged Serpents had finally revealed themselves to Teragaia.

Time to get into the boring stuff, the rules.

#3. While it is preferred that you come alone, one creature companion is permitted.
