When it comes to the IF no place is considered sacred or off limits. Not even the hatching sands of the Weyr. Case in point, tree floor of the bowl where so many young dragons broke shell was no longer covered in sand but in stone tile.
(Thankfully where any actually clutches were located remained sand, though the mother dragons were less-than-thrilled with such tight confines for their offspring.)
But even in this kind of situation there were those who thought to take advantage of things for their purposes. After all where would be better to forge and spar and maybe attract attention than the most coveted place in the entire Weyr, so conveniently adjusted?
In a less-dragon populated side of the bowl they were, nine creatures not seen in the Haven territory before.
One, likely the eldest, had set up a small forge and was even then toiling away on her final project - a slender Rapier - while the one waited patiently watching, though her lashing tail revealed hidden eagerness. A large Claymore was lovingly propped up nearby to the forger.
Blades clashed as two - one with an Epee and one with a Foil - sparred with one another. Aside from their weapons they would look exactly alike, making the match a little dizzying to observe.
Another who seemed older than the rest with a Zweihander strapped across his back oversaw the match, just to ensure it didn't get out of control.
One with a Saber sheathed at his hip wandered here and there nearby, looking around at the Hatching grounds but with a somewhat distant look in his eyes as if seeing both it and something else.
Another spun his Dagger about as he tested its balance and got a feel for the weapon.
Two more sat holding their blades - a Shinai and a Schlager respectively - as if in awe at finally, after so long waiting, having them in paw.
Wait - in paw?
Yes, in paw because as the dragons would be able to relay - and this it would be common knowledge before long, these nine individuals weren't people in the typical senses.
They were cats. In boots.
The day just got interesting!

Welcome to the first Meowlure Bonding! These delightful creatures (thank you Absent!) are the first of the reveals for the Belated Anniversary Celebration. Their entries have been put into the database here, so feel free to take a peek and get to know them.
The rules for this Bonding are simple:

Welcome to the first Meowlure Bonding! These delightful creatures (thank you Absent!) are the first of the reveals for the Belated Anniversary Celebration. Their entries have been put into the database here, so feel free to take a peek and get to know them.
The rules for this Bonding are simple:
- As usual, site and ProBoard rules apply.
- For now one character per person.
- One or Two moderate-sized Bondeds may accompany, but if anyone's bringing a dragon or saying you're dragon's already there, only one please. The Weyr Bowl is big, but too many dragons is a huge crowd lol!
- For your first post simply show up. You can try to chat up the Meowlures, observe, show off your own skills, what you please. As stated in their Bonding section these creatures are finicky as their four-legged, mundane counterparts. There's no telling what might attract them to take an interest!
