They appeared out of nowhere, those seven doors. Each one had an ethereal glow about it, some duller in appearance than others. Around them flickered lights of various different colors: green, purple, red, yellow, teal, blue, pink. If one drew close enough they would be able to hear the whispering of voices. Listening would reveal a cacophony of voices, from bitter tears and distant discordant wails to the bubbly giggles of a child.
"Come and play, come and play... Join us in the hellish yard! The singsong words carried on the breeze would whisper to those that it found worthy, and only those. Seven people, seven doors, and one choice would seal their fates. There would be no going back when they'd made their decision, and whatever lay beyond those innocuous doors was a mystery to any save the fortunate (or perhaps unfortunate) that passed through. The dancing lights zip around the area, never straying too far from the doors they seem to be guarding. Though lacking eyes, they are patient...watching and waiting for those that have been chosen.
The first to hear the playful-sounding words would be none other than Nat, the voice guiding her to follow it to that strange place where the doors had materialized. The second to hear them was Renji, the child in a grown man's body being invited to a very exclusive gathering. Should either of them hesitate, they would find themselves filled with a sense of urgency, as though whatever was calling to them would not be ignored.
In this case the destination was far more important than the journey; it mattered not to the voice guiding them how they got there, just that they were there in the first place. The other worthy ones would arrive eventually, of course, but for now it was just the two of them. Upon their arrival, the lights would go still before zipping over to their respective doors and hovering in front of them in a protective manner. For Nat, it would be the teal light that would glow the brightest as if beckoning her, though if she looked closely at the others then the purple light would also shine, but it was much more faint. For Renji, however, it was the yellow light that would glow the brightest while the green light glowed gently, both lights beckoning him in their direction.
The third person to be invited to this unusual party would be Carrot, followed by Jirin. Carrot's arrival would be heralded by the brilliant glow of the blue light and the gentle gleam of the pink light, ushering him to choose between the two of them though it appeared that the intensity of the glow could very well be tied to how well the individuals that arrived resonated with the lights that hovered before the doors. Jirin would find himself being pulled in two different directions, as both the red light and the green light glowed brightly in response to his presence, one of the strongest responses thus far.

Time to get into the boring stuff, the rules.
#1. Maximum of two characters per person
#2. NPCs are permitted.
#3. You may bring one bonded creature with you if you wish.
#4. Once someone has passed through a door, that door is closed for anyone else. No take-backs.
On to the first round! The one for this is pretty simple, at least in theory: choosing a door. The more brightly the light glows, the stronger the connection between the character and what might be beyond that door. Of course the light is merely a suggestion; what your character decides to do is entirely up to you.
